  1. Since when do judges concern themselves with whether a criminal is humiliated or shamed? I guess when the criminal is a former judge? They seem to be reluctant to embarrass one of their own. http://news.msn.com/crime-justice/ex-judge-must-say-shes-sorry-just-not-in-cuffs
  2. We don't know if the relationship was abused because the investigation has been halted. It appears it was significant enough an infraction to necessitate a seemingly forced early retirement. Georgia Code of Judicial Conduct: "C. Administrative Responsibilities (3) Judges with supervisory authority for judicial performance of other judges should take reasonable measures to assure the prompt disposition of matters before them and the proper performance of their other judicial responsibilities." D. Disciplinary Responsibilities (1) Judges who receive information indicating a substan
  3. Not to say the problem is or is not systemic but what is also of concern is how could this go on under the nose of the supervising Chief Judge? Why would anyone feel comfortable behaving in this manner under a supervising judge? How long did this go on? If the Chief Judge wasn't aware of it, why not? If he was aware of it, what did he know and when did he know it? Wouldn't he be the one obligated to notify the JQC of any potential improprieties?
  4. In an ideal world I would agree. Unfortunately, attorneys frequently end up collaborating under color of law. The incestuous relationships of family court frequently bear dysfunction.
  5. It's difficult to make a determination based on only 2 opposing opinions. Especially if the circumstances are not identical. Much like opposing opinions of a restaurant's menu though the patrons did not order the same meal. Often times attorneys appointed by the court and those that work closely with the court do what is in the best interest of the court and not the child. They spend time catering to the whims of a judge as their experiences would perceive said whims.
  6. That's the problem. The best interests of the child is far to often not taken into account.
  7. I bet there are a lot of people saying if I knew then what I know now. This is a very good article by Dr. Childress, one of the foremost authorities on parental alienation. I really can't find where he is wrong about any of this. http://drcraigchildressblog.com/2014/08/19/the-appointment-of-minors-counsel-must-stop/
  8. This is a story that just won't be buried. It's just sad that so many lives are destroyed by family courts. http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/stasi-robin-williams-30m-alimony-ex-wives-contributed-death-article-1.1906241
  9. Unethical and incompetent judges and lawyers are not exclusive to California. Neither is collusion between them. Here is a clip from the movie "Divorce Corp." illustrating that Family Court has little to do with equity or law. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oO3OLaz_uFA
  10. Let's not pretend this is the first time an unarmed kid has been gunned down by a police officer. I wouldn't condone riots but apparently rioting is an effective method to drawing attention to the problem. There wasn't a single thread on PCom about the kid getting shot but let a riot happen and it is rewarded with a thread. Rioting gets news coverage that a kid being gunned down by a police officer does not. May be if appropriate attention and retraining of police officers were done when lawlessness under color of law and systemic cover-ups occur, there would be less despair amongst the se

  12. 50 + { 32 ÷ [ (7 x 2) - (2 x 5) ]} Looks like a typo to the three of us.
  13. Guilty or innocent I would think this places every trial in question involving this prosecutor and judge. Inappropriate relationships happen much more frequently than we know. Fortunately someone had the conviction to stand up and do what was right. Something that is ever increasingly uncommon as it is easier to just walk away and mind your own business, "Bystander Apathy". http://abcnews.go.com/US/florida-judge-disbarred-lying-relationship-prosecutor/story?id=24046489
  14. It's not the deadbeat parents that suffer, it is the children and the NCPs that suffer at the hands of alienating parents. Just like gun laws, it's not the criminals (deadbeats) that suffer it's those that abide by the law who are punished unjustly by stricter gun laws. If a so called deadbeat isn't paying, they aren't going to pay so why bleed the life out of those that do pay? Based on your logic I guess we do need strict gun laws for everyone and to take everyone's guns away because of a few bad apples. No one is saying that child support should not be paid. There are always extenuating
  15. I haven't mentioned my case at all. And I won't. I fight for others who have to pay child support but are obstructed from seeing their children. Sometimes for the rest of their lives. Child support is enforced, false allegations are exploited and parenting time goes unenforced. That is unhealthy for the children. Title IV-D is a crime. NCPs pay more for welfare than you do. Welfare is a fact of life, get over it and stop your race bating videos.
  16. How many people do you know that are getting rich living a secure life being paid under the table? Any system can be scammed and Title IV-D ensure that child support is a scam. There are far more NCPs being robbed blind than children suffering due to non-payment of CS. I know a guy in Henry County that has to pay child support for his younger child and his 19 year old child lives with him. He pays college tuition by himself. The mother collects child support on a six figure income and offers no help with tuition for the older child. Same thing with a mother in Ohio. She pays CS and has
  17. I don't know any that do. There is always a price to be paid. In Maryland and New Jersey, the debtors prisoners become laborers to pay their child support debt. They get paid $40/day. How do you pay of CS with $40 a day outsourced by the state or Corrections Corporation of America? Or you lose your passport, license and or job. Divorce is a $50 billion dollar a year industry. More money goes through divorce court than all other courts combined. Judges, lawyers and the American Bar Association love it. That's $50 billion a year before gay marriage. Gay divorce is going to inflate the numbe
  18. Not sure where you're going. The noncustodial parent pays the lions share. Regardless of circumstances, they are bled from the maximum amount to imputed income that they just don't have. This is done in the best interests of the state not of children. NCPs still have to pay taxes in addition to inflated CS. I'm sure some NCPs pay $1000 to $250 of benefits paid out in some cases and vice-versa.
  19. I'd like to see Title IV-D welfare reform. It is off the backs of noncustodial parents that welfare and TANF is funded. Federal matching funding from child support collection is the egg laying golden goose.
  20. Minimize parenting time, 4 days a month, or eliminate parenting time to maximize federal funding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=oJjgOjq5uso http://paulding.com/forum/topic/310668-what-is-title-iv-d-and-title-iv-e/?p=3920794
  21. This is tragic. Incredibly sad story that is becoming all to frequent. http://www.fox45now.com/shared/news/top-stories/stories/wrgt_vid_21373.shtml Mother's chilling words after she killed her 4 year old daughter, "I wouldn't be in that car if I were you." Bond was set at $2 million for Parsons, who was arrested Monday after allegedly walking into the Athens Police Department to report her daughter's death. The body of Victoria Wyatt was in a vehicle at the family's home.
