  1. Any public official that requires such notice of caution has no business holding public office. It's just that simple. You are held to a higher standard than the average citizen.
  2. IMO there was no justification for shooting that kid. The stories I read is he started shooting within 2 seconds. If not this incident another would have happened. He simply isn't police officer material and was a ticking emotional time bomb.
  3. Nick Lulli reports that the JQC is now investigating at least one judge as to what he knew and when he knew it. Rumor has it there is finger pointing and face chewing going around in Augusta. With all that is happening in Augusta and Newnan, The rest of the state will follow suit in 2015. If you want to see change and a task force formed like the one in Connecticut you have to stop being afraid, stand up and fight for what's right.
  4. Being mentally and emotionally unstable has nothing to do with being a rookie. It wasn't even his first attempt at becoming a police officer. He had a choice on whether or not to shoot. He should never have been hired as a police officer in the first place. Read further into the article. There is no doubt he is not police officer material.
  5. Live stream from Fox 54 at 10PM. What did the judges know and when did they know it? Did superior court judges know that Magistrate Judge and Guardian Ad Litem, Doug Nelson, was propositioning women during their child custody hearings? Did the judges know about this when they continued to appoint Doug Nelson as GAL? Did a mother have to spend 10 days in jail for speaking out? BREAKING NEWS: #Augusta @WFXGFox54 @nicklulli Streaming live starting 10pm http://www.wfxg.com/category/235953/wfxg-live …
  6. Cleveland is going to be in for one heck of a law suit. I'm sure the parents would rather have their child, as any parent would.
  7. Everytime I'm told I'm going to a movie I end up annoying everyone when I start snoring.
  8. "Corporations are people, my friend." But a chimpanzee should be stowed in a cage in a warehouse?
  9. A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence. — J. Watkins When Mandela was in prison, during apartheid, did you think he would one day become President of South Africa?
  10. I try to raise awareness to the shenanigans in family court all of the time. It takes a very long time to get any traction. Most people get frustrated and give up or turn to the worst. The guy who filmed it was indicted on a separate charge but says he was set up.
  11. I save the previous year's bucket and split the popcorn between the buckets. Then just get the current year's bucket refilled if necessary. Still burns a hole in your pocket.
  12. The case is a mess which I think is one of the reasons it wasn't chosen. Try to remember the focus is on the judges' performance not the parties. In fairness to the mother the other document filings (redacted to protect identities) should be made available. According to the mother's documents, Judge Beavers turned over custody of the children to their father. Also according to the mother's documents, the father has had legal problems. Judge Beavers often appears extremely hesitant if not completely reluctant to award fathers custody, in my opinion. But this father won custody. Keeping sc
  13. Are you ok with troubled and even some flat out kangaroo courts going unchallenged? With recent riots whether protesting perceived injustices perpetrated by law enforcement or your favorite sports team's championship, freedom of expression should be safe, orderly and effective. One way for this to occur is to get involved because you live in Georgia. "The first step toward change is awareness, the second is acceptance." Ignoring or dismissing a problem won't make it go away. History reveals it will make abuses and subsequent responses grow exponentially. Please sign this petition for FBI i
  14. I think to avoid the appearance of impropriety, a judge should recuse himself. There are more than a handful of cases where judges actions are questionable and troubling. This case includes questionable actions by both judges. Inlight of all of the JQC investigations involving the third county judge, Osborne, I would think both Judge Beavers and Judge Vinson would find it in their best interest and that of the court not to draw attention to themselves. More to come...
  15. So what you're saying is it's ok to break the law as long as you are doing it to enforce another law?
  16. I'm not sure but according to court documents filed by Attorney Parisa Naderi Herrin, it appears Paulding County Judge, Kenneth G. Vinson disagrees with you. See page 2 of this file. In my opinion, it appears the mother and father had a race to the courthouse to be first to get a protective order against the other. The mother went to Judge Kenneth G. Vinson, according to Ms. Herrin, the mother's landlord. The the father, through his attorney, Parisa Naderi Herrin, went to Chief Judge Tonny S. Beavers. Ms. Herrin must be a good attorney because I've yet to find a case that she has lost in C

  18. This story has several turns that are of interest. The parties in this story are irrelevant to the story. You are being asked to judge the judges. Let's start here... You are a judge that owns a rental property. Your tenant asks you to provide her with a protective order against her ex boyfriend/husband. Is it appropriate to oblige her request? What do you do?
  19. Do you know for a fact he was charging the police officer? The stories are conflicting so I would say you do not know that. He had marijuana in his system which does not put you in a rage but has a calming effect. If you are shot 4 times I think it is unlikely that you will charge anyone much less continue charging a police officer to get shot at least 2 more times. Michael Brown died 35 ft from the police car. The officer was near the police car. That's quite a distance to charge someone from.
  20. Good advice. You may want to share in that. No one is saying the kid is squeaky clean. He should not be dead because of what he did. If we killed every kid that started off life on the wrong foot, there would be a lot of upstanding citizens that would not be alive today.
  21. IMHO, you provided too many of your own "facts". The best teachers show you where to look but don't tell you what to see. I think you overstepped your boundaries and contaminated your presentation to your son.
  22. Speaking of Officer Wilson's testimony. It isn't often that the subject of a grand jury investigation actually testifies in his own behalf before the grand jury. Why would he not be cross examined by the DA? If a grand jury would "indict a ham sandwich" if that's what the DA wanted, isn't it fair to say the opposite is true? The DA didn't want an indictment. Many DAs ask grand juries what was missing? What could I have presented? Upon receiving the reply the DA provides the information requested. Further DAs provide information with surgical precision. They don't overload the grand jury with
  23. Let's also remember that his brother was killed a few years later running for the office that would have given him the power to learn who was behind the killing of JFK. A third brother probably would have been killed had he (Ted) decided to run as the Democratic front-runner in 1972.
  24. Good story but it would be better if you cited your sources. Not that I don't trust you but I may not trust your sources. If he called for backup as you say, why didn't he wait for back up to arrive? If you are afraid of someone wouldn't you avoid confrontation and observe the person until backup arrived? The person didn't appear to be an immediate threat to anyone. Why not use a taser on him? He certainly did not commit a capital crime so who elected this guy judge, jury and executioner? As far as JFK goes, if the President of the U.S. is lying dead before you and you suspect foul play, ho
  25. TFRM: Guardian Ad Litem Janet Weinberger investigated in Georgia for improper billing. Allegedly she billed the parents $13.00 every time she called either parent whether they answered the phone or not. She also false stated she interviewed all of the children's teachers which according to the teachers never happened. Of course when the father approached the judge in his case about the improper billing he did nothing. I'll bet that changes after this very negative publicity. [if found guilty] She should be fired and charged as the criminal she is. To think she helps decide the cases she impro
