  1. Gotcha....I didn't hear that report. I'll gather the stones. - Jamie
  2. I've got to ask....Wouldn't the mother have been contacted by DFACS concerning the previous infractions? Hard to believe that a mother would leave her child in an unsafe environment. Odd that a mother: Wouldn't have custody of the child. Didn't know that the childs father could be abusive. Didn't know that her child was being abused. One can't really pass judgement, because we certainly don't know the circumstatnce; however, it does leave you wondering. - Jamie
  3. I'm a notary as well. Dallas area...
  4. Had an uncle that spent years with huge magnets thinking he was going to figure it out...... - Jamie
  5. I voted, no. If they're going to take over our daily lives, might as well not half-ass it. - Jamie
  6. I don't consider National Journal a conservative or liberal leaning organization...Depends on who you speak to I guess.... But their analysis indicates the following Obama's Affordable Care Act Looking a Bit Unaffordable - Jamie
  7. I'm sorry, but that isn't a pro Obamacare link...So it’s biased. I read the article. I must say there is no better eye opener than personal experience. There are going to be a great number of young idealistic people who have will have their eyes opened once they're socked in the pocket. I'm a healthy single father of two kids under the age 8. I’m not eligible for any subsidy due to the income threshold. My insurance rates increased by 93.27%. Statistically speaking…I’m representative of the young, educated, single parent that typically leans to the left. After the bold promises al
  8. Over the last 20 years their butts have started to catch up with their mouths.... - Jamie
  9. Something is said when you look at which groups are pushing for prohibition. 1) Police Unions 2) Private Prison Corporations 3) Alcohol and Beer Companies 4) Pharmaceutical Corporations 5) Prison Guard Unions - Jamie
  10. Your comment is so true.... Methodical deceit is always acceptable at the right time; ergo, the term machiavellian comes to mind. - Jamie
  11. We are quibbling over the percentage of increase, while the president was stating it was going down by $2500 per house hold. My rates didn't go down $2500.00...Actually they may have went up by about $2500. Only in government can someone deceptively advertise a product and get a pat on the back. Everyone is perfectly fine with it, because, "we are protecting you from you." If it wasn't so funny, I would say file a complaint with the FTC, but who would take the complaint? The department of health and human services I guess. They have a call center that doing nothing right now. Obam
  12. I don't partake, but I think our "war" against marijuana is counter productive. - Jamie
  13. Oh geez...and Michael Jackson was the first test subject to see if republicans could turn Clarence Thomas (Insert your favorite token here)white after taking over the world. - Jamie
  14. Where was I untruthful? I was very specific that a number, insert what ever number, is not found. No mistruth there.. - Jamie
  15. With respect to that specific number, I was being an @$$. With data provided there is no way in the world to come up with a specific number. The data provided for The Federal Register is from Kaiser employer survey and should be understood for what it is...A survey that tells us that that a large number of group policies are going fail the ACA litmus test; therefore, employees are going onto the exchange OR move to a group policy that is ACA compliant. Another healthcare provider survey may have provided different statistics. None of this negates the fact that the administration has been
  16. I'm on my phone right now. When I get in front of a machine..I can break it down. On page 34553, the register, a nonbiased federal government publication of rules & regulations, provides a table reflecting a low-end, mid range, and high-end breakdown of businesses (*cumalative from 2011-2013) relinquishing their grandfather status by employer size. We can back into a rough estimate to provide the number of employees (group plan) and then add the number of individuals being dropped. * In the spirit of objectivism, I haven't seen any numbers indicating that 2011-2012 are on track (l
  17. You have to explain that percentages equal actual people impacted, because it doesn't specifically say 93, 345, 982 individuals will lose their current coverage. - Jamie
  18. I think the if Obama was pushing eugenics to reduce healthcare costs, there would be an element proclaiming that "real" conservatives see the cost effectiveness of the program. While "fake" conservatives will cry about liberty. - Jamie
  19. Do you believe this new system is going to approve every kind of life saving surgery and/or cancer treatment? - Jamie
  20. I posted the link a few days ago to the Federal Register where everyone could view the guidelines for a plan being Grandfathered into the system. Federal Register Go to the Page Forbes cites: Page 34,552 Its all there in black and white, and guess what? The information from the adminstration is dated June 17th, 2010. Talk about drinking from the Jonestown community cup. Even Pubby keeps citing that most of the insured have a group policy with their employer and won't be impacted like individuals. So lets get this straight.... 30,000,000 uninsured so we kick 93,000,000 off their p
