Giving them another $14 per $100,000 house value constitutes a tax increase whether the millage rate is increased or not rolled back...

Hopefully we can stop this tax increase before its forced on us.. Every citizen needs to be calling and emailing all of the post commissioners and telling them-- NO TAX INCREASES OR YOU WILL BE VOTED OUT!!!!

I had a huge problem with the IBA a few years ago when they issued bond to pave residential roads on subdivisions where the builders went belly up. I hope the county learned its lesson and will have enforceable bonds with builders to prevent this burden on taxpayers as home building resumes. I recall that the IBA issued bonds in the 2003-2005 time period for sewerage.
