  1. Don't take the bait Smoke ignore the trolls (two in this thread alone). The are pathetic individuals in need of constant affirmation that their lives don't suck but just can't seem to get anyone to believe it.
  2. WHAAAT! Oh hell to the no it didn't.
  3. Candy Apple Customs Cartersville.
  4. What are they going to do with the current Fred's?
  5. A freaking shrimp boat trolls less than the liberals around here.
  6. Sure we need bean counters, engineers, doctors and an assortment of advanced degreed people in the work force. However not everybody has the aptitude for advanced education and not everyone can have a job in an office basically being an information clerk. Most computer jobs (non tech support) are basically shuffling information around no different than the clerks of Dickens novels. You can call it what you want but they are computer clerks. What we do need is an technically educated work force who can produce with their hands products that can be marketed locally and globally. Also technicians
  7. Answer to OP, no it would not. The work force is already saturated with worthless degrees in worthless subjects. What we need is more technical training. The economy can only support so many non-productive occupations. We need to outlaw unions, get our manufacturing base back, invest in manufacturing and technical skills and quit raising a bunch of entitled couch potatoes who all want a office job making $200k a year and not producing JS that you can put in your hand and attach a value to. You look at the 50's arguably the peak of US economic and quality of life. We out produced every body by
  8. Kudos to you Blondie. In your case the system did what it should do. Be a stop gap between choosing a roof over your head or feeding your family. I have ZERO issues with the assistance you received and would have bought you groceries out of my pocket if I had known you and your situation. I am proud of your independence and I am sure your family is too. I am conservative somewhere to the right of Ronald Reagan on most issues. I know of no one that has ever said we should let children starve. This is total scare tactic BS by the left who would prostitute their mother to get a vote from a wino.
  9. LR this is an example of Liberaltitus, or the fear of everything in common terms. It is transmitted by the liberal media and celebrities much like Zeka is transmitted by mosquitoes. Symptoms include the endless whining and hysteria concerning guns, environment, race, law enforcement, entitlements, wealth envy, morality, family values, religion (strangely only Christianity brings on the symptoms other religions seem to be immune), gender identification, use of military, lack of use of military, illegal immigration and worst of all capitalism. The only cure seems to be self reliance and an educa
  10. AP ya'll seem like good folks but your son sounds like a spineless jerk. The blame in this drama is totally his. I'm sorry but I would tell my wife you were my parents before she was my wife and the same will remain true after she is gone if that is what it takes to shut her up. It speaks volumes about some one who would ransom their child or work a shady business deal to pressure their own parents into doing some thing they really don't want to do. I hope it all works out for your sake but your son has been Yankeeized a trait common to those folks up north.
  11. I am more pleasant when I have a full stomach. Of course I go out and work for the food on my table and don't depend on others to provide it for me.
  12. Happy Birthday LR hope you had a great day.
  13. Two Ospreys have buzzed my house for the third time now rattling windows and scaring live stock. These Marine deathtraps are very loud and very unreliable. It would be nice if the damn airport a holes considered some one else instead of their own damn self concerning the airport nobody wanted to start with. I would expect it if I built near a military base but I was here way before the stupid ass airport. My whole opposition to the airport was a quality of life issue and they are doing their best to prove me right. Freaking pricks.
  14. I think Pete Barfield put them there when he had a feed store in that building. I could be wrong but they were there during that time period.
  15. As usual you miss the point.
  16. Give it a rest Putsy. This post was meant to be humorous, very depraved yet humorous. Never chastise anyone on here for being political you are the freaking king of hypocrisy. Let some things be.
  17. Sounds like they are going to serve a warrant. Hope the perp is not reading your post.
  18. I am taking it day by day LR. Thanks for asking.
  19. The traffic will increase double fold. I enjoy the summer because the traffic is much lighter than when the big yellow rolling road blocks are in service. I really don't know why we don't get rid of them. It seems 95% of the parents take junior to school anyway.
  20. It was sore for a couple of weeks. Then slowly it just kind of starting getting stronger. It is still not 100% and doubt it ever will be but it really doesn't bother me it just does not seem to be as strong as it was before. I pretty much just starting paying attention to how I use it and did not over use it. That along with ice and nsaids and it eventually healed.
  21. The chairman sets the agenda much like the POTUS. He does not control the rest of the BOC, in theory. As long as the anti-airport majority has the majority nothing will happen any different than the current status quo. The chairman has no effect on lawsuits filed by any anti entity. I believe Leggett lost due to the people with long memories still in the county. While Dave may have voted lock step with Austin his record does not seem to match up to the association between Leggett, Shearin, Carruth and the robber bandit developers that left the citizens holding the bag on infrastructure, public
  22. I have a similar issue in my right leg due to bulging disc in my lower back. My right leg wants to cramp a lot especially my hamstring and calf. Last year my calf felt tight all the time. Finally in September I was loading a horse onto the trailer and set my leg firmly to get some power behind my pushing. My calf popped and thirty seconds later I was on the ground. Turns out I tore a muscle in my calf. Luckily it was not an Achilles tendon so no surgery was required. However there was nothing the doctors could do but let it heal. I have a big dent in that calf but it does not really bother me.
