I'm with NC17 on this one . I rarely think about anyone's politics unless they start preaching to me. I imagine you have about as many nasty Republicans as Democrats. Most of my neighbors keep their place looking nice but we have our share of ....... most of the time they turn out to be renters who could care less about property values.

Most farm subsidies are paid to farmers not to plant a crop. Lifting the subsidies would mean more production and lower prices. Subsidies are a left over from the 30's and the great dust bowl era, now they are just Senators bringing home the bacon for votes. Let the free market work, isn't that what all the Reaganite Conservatives are always preaching ?

Their was a kid knocking on everyone's door in our neighborhood and asking for somebody no one had heard of. Later that day a family that was at work had their back door kicked in and their house looted. Scary !!
