  6. Sure they know and they are part of the problem for months they were taking metal grates along 285 and manhole covers. Do you really think these metal recyclers didn't know a manhole cover wasn't stolen. And then theres this....... ....... they tailed the blue Ford Focus to another cemetery and watched as the man collected 51 bronze vases attached to grave markers in about 15 minutes. He then drove to a scrap-metal yard, where police say he had already sold hundreds of vases with a replacement value of up to $600 each. http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052970203611404577042580
  7. If the Op's air quality chart is to be believed the air quality in her/his area never fell into the "Good" zone in a 48 hr period. The chart says anything over 3000 is very poor air quality and the read out peaks at over 12,500, the only time it fell into the" Fair" zone was for six hours between 11am and 5pm. I guess when you're up all night tending to a fire you have to take sometime to sleep .
  8. Maybe this explains my and my neighbors respiratory problems. If you have reported this to Paulding county law enforcement and have been ignored maybe it's time to get the media involved. With all the documentation you have I'm sure WSB would love to get their hands on a story like this. Metal thieves have become a scourge on society stealing everything from phone lines to grave markers and it's disgusting what little effort officials have put into stopping it. You can't burn the insulation off of wire without leaving behind evidence. If you have called the Sheriff's office and they refuse to

  10. Sounds like a great idea, but first you have to make sure everyone pays the tax. 12. If your dog is wagging his tail toward the left he isn't happy, he's trying to tell you he's upset. Who knew ? Dogs get cues from other dogs' wagging tails Research has long shown that dogs communicate through their tails. A happy dog wags its tail more to the right, and an anxious one will favor its left http://www.pbs.org/n...il-wagging.html
  13. Couldn't this be a case of "You knew I was a Snake when you picked me up" ? Was he not pretty much run out of Washington DC by the House Ethics Committee for dirty dealings ?
  14. The subject is surnames. I think everyone is aware that given names are "given" by a person's parents. Point is if you ever meet an African American whose surname is McLaughlin you can be reasonably sure his ancestors were not from Scotland.
  15. When Muhammad Ali referred to Cassius Clay as his "slave" name it was a valid statement. During slavery plantation owners chose the names of their slaves and after generations slaves no longer had any knowledge of their ancestors. After emancipation most freed slaves had to use the last names of their former owners on legal documents. ....... African Americans Prior to the ratification of the Thirteenth Amendment to the US Constitution, the vast majority of African-Americans in the United States were enslaved. During enslavement, slaves' names were assigned by their owners. Others rece
  16. Sorry there will be no refund because the House voted to pay everyone for the days that were lost during the shutdown. It's the Republican's version of "Having your cake and eating it too".
  17. If you text and drive or you have young drivers in your family you should have them watch this video. The old "This would never happen to me" excuse only works up until that split second that it does. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BqFkRwdFZ0#t=722
  18. An elegantly simple solution. The question is how big a sales tax would it take to do the job. Anything over a few cents would bring outrage and filibusters from the "No new taxes" Republicans.
  19. You "reakly" need to get a better phone or get to a computer to post comments.
  20. I just remember Republicans saying we have the best health care system in the world.
  21. I think we have grounds for agreement here Mr Dis why should an 80 year old man have to pay for pediatric care. Reminds me of when I as a senior citizen with no young children am charged with a school tax bill every year my property tax .
