I'm negative on here at times but I try very hard to only respond negatively when provoked. There are a couple people on here (one, in particular) that have a habit of demeaning others which makes it 'easy' to respond in kind.

For someone not well versed in computers, I'd go with an iPad. Probably any of the current models would work ok. There is also the iPad Mini which is smaller than the original iPad. The only negative for iPads is the cost. Some decent Android tablets are less expensive but they aren't as consistent across apps as an iOS device. What do you plan to use it for? Email? Movies? Internet surfing? Games?

When I've cancelled Dish or Directv in the past they always sent postage paid shipping boxes for the receivers. They also said send the dish 'guts' if possible but don't if you are unable to get to it (meaning no big deal to them). That sucks for them to change the policy.

former member, the problem with the highlighted part above is that when someone disagrees with your posts you basically call them stupid or unable to understand. People are allowed to have their own opinions that may even be different from 'experts'.
