They won't use nukes.
-
When they control cities, they're using the innocent as human shields. This makes it necessary to use ground troops to drive them out. There was much urban warfare during WWII using groud troops. Anyone who thinks using air superiority alone will defeat ISIS is foolish. It will take ground troops to get the job done.

Do you really think that Gore being in the White House would have convinced al Qaeda from attacking the US?
-
Which reminds me; Isn't "radical jihadist" redundant? Jihadists are Muslims following Islam. The only religion using the word jihadist is Islam. Here's what If find really funny about the left refusing to say "radical Islam"; they don't have a problem at all saying, "radical Christians" or "Christian extremists."

It would have happened if Gore was president, so what?
-
They should attach it to the budget bill. If Obama vetos it and the government shuts down as a result, it's on him.

When the Defense Intelligence Agency conducts security background checks on people, it involves interviewing friends, neighbors, teachers, and employers of the individual being investigated. Now tell me how affective is any organization going to be conducting security checks on Syrians? It's not.

Think about this for a second; how in the heck would yout vett them? You can't.

Even then, he would continue to call for appeasement.

It's not a matter of if it will happen here; it's now a matter of when.

I was behind an erratic driver on 92 one time and called 911. I gave the dispatcher the license plate of the car and continued to follow as she said she would send a car out that way. She kept me on the phone as I continued to give locations, and then she said a deputy wanted to meet me in the parking lot to sign a complaint. Huh? I told the dispatcher that I would prefer someone to come and get this guy before he hit someone. She said the deputy would rather I meet him someplace to sign a complaint. When the idiot driver ran the red light at 92 and Dallas Hwy I stopped following. She a

What proof would that be?

No he didn't. What these people fail to realize is that if General Westmoreland had told any 17 or 18 year old at that time, "The Army is looking for students like you who have the potential to become great leaders. I can get you an appointment to West Point and you won't have to worry about paying a dime for your college education;" if that kid applied, he'd get the appointment.
-
There are two types of nominations to West Point: Congressional and Service Connected. Service connected appointments include: Applicants currently enrolled in an Army Junior or Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program or an ROTC program from another branch of service that has been designated as an Honor Unit with Distinction are eligible for a nomination in this category. A request for a ROTC Nomination should be made through your Professor of Military Science or Senior Instructor who must fill out and submit a Request for ROTC Nomination (Form 5-497) to the Director of Ad

What you're failing to acknowledge is what Carson actually said in the video cptlo provided.
-
What I had heard in the news is that Carson said in his book that he had met General Westmoreland who offered him the opportunity to attend West Point, but he said no because he wanted to be a doctor. If General Westmoreland wanted someone to attend West Point, that person would have received an appointment. I can see how someone could have perceived that as being offered a scholarship.

It is possible the original design for the first pyramid was for the purpose of storing grain, but the pharoah decided to use it as a tomb instead.

Let's not forget all the new EPA regulations enacted under Democrats that have done nothing to enhance the enviroment, but has helped drive U.S. manufacturing overseas. -

I also notice that when peaches is starting to get hammered, ol' BS in latin begins to post in her defense. -
It appears Jeter has recanted much of what he said since you started this topic. Jeter says Halle never told anyone he had abused her. He said when the rumors of abuse started circulating, she never said anything to stop them. http://www.eonline.com/news/712689/halle-berry-s-ex-husband-david-justice-backtracks-after-twitter-rant?cmpid=rss-000000-rssfeed-365-topstories&utm_source=eonline&utm_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=rss_topstories

She has cited it several times before. Here's an interesting article about the "97%." -
I love seeing a NY team look pathetic in a championship series.

Why; because you disagree with what he wrote?

I just recall how all of you on the left blamed Bush for all the money Halliburton was making. Now if you wanted to blame Bush back then, you should certainly be blaming Obama for this now.
