Have you ever wished for a long lost rich relative?
gwilli8866 replied to **Bren**'s topic in RECENT TOPICS
Good luck! My mother is part owner of some land where they are mining coal in Kentucky and also owns the mineral rights to some other land which they are getting oil or gas or something from the well. We definitely haven't gotten rich off it but you never know....one day they might just strike it big! I sure hope so. Do get royalty checks monthly but they are small but every little bit helps. My aunt & uncle got rich off of the coal on their land but we haven't been quite that lucky YET. I hope that your Mom gets lots and lots of money from it. -

Multi colored lights here and we always have to leave Santa tracks to the tree. Started doing this when my daughter was 3 and I took boots and dipped them in flour and left "ash footprints" from the fireplace to the tree. Of course on Christmas morning you have to get up and start fussing about the "mess" that Santa left! I did that and told her I was gonna call him and tell him about the mess he made and she begged me not to "cause he might not come back next year". It was too cute. All the grandkids seem to enjoy it too. I love the idea about the lights on the tree too.

WOW! We were just talking about this yesterday morning....so happy for her and ya'll too!!! -
My Dad died 4 years ago and my Mom is 80 and lives next door to us. I am thankful that they were that close when my Dad got Alzheimers so we could help my Mom take care of him. It was really hard but you do what you have to and I am lucky to still have my Mom next door. She has lots of health problems with her heart and has had breast cancer twice so we are grateful for every day. See or talk to her at least once a day if not more.

Why don't they just change it to "left turn on green arrow only". It would slow traffic a little but not enough if it saves lives. IMO -

It looks like the road ends at Hiram Sudie and they feel over confident making a left turn toward Hiram because they don't see the other side of the road and don't realize that there are cars coming across that intersection. -

Good post Pubby, it does look like the road just sort of "disappears" as you are coming up on that intersection. Engineering definitely needs to take a look at it. -

I saw all the paint marks on the road this morning. They have got to do something about that intersection . . way too many wrecks there and most of them are ones with serious injuries. -
We stopped gifts for adults a couple of years ago. There was just too many to buy for so we only buy for age 21 & under. I have 6 grandkids and try to keep it to $100-$150 per child. They get so much for the parents, other grandparents, aunts & uncles that they have more than enough. I try to get something that they "really" want (which seems to be every commercial) but if they tell me 2 or 3 times that they want an item I try to get that and some other items also. We used to go overboard with our kids but both of us were working and making good money. Both retired and not as much

Any other suggestions?

Thanks! They are expensive.

My hubby has had back problems for a while now and after many epidurals his doctor decided to burn the nerves in two. This was done in their surgery center without being put to sleep. It was done using a Radiograph machine and a needle similar to the one they use for the epidural. Once the nerve is burnt it does not transmit the pain signals to the brain. He said it has done wonders for his pain. The nerve will grow back but it takes 6-12 months to do so - at least he will not have pain for that time anyway. Don't know if this is something that would work for you or not. He has been usi

Where do I find Paulding Co arrest records?
gwilli8866 replied to gwilli8866's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Okay, that makes sense. I knew that they had published some and just wondered if it was available online. Thanks -
It may not be able to be accessed due to the new system. I know that Pubby/LPPT posted that some data may be lost during the conversion. Not sure if that is true in this case though.

Where do I find Paulding Co arrest records?

I just wanted to know where to find the info. The ones that were posted here were listed by date, what the charge was etc. Just a booking record I think by day. I just like to look and see if anything has happened in my neighborhood such as break ins etc.
