I got some of them too. Also got the Jumbo shrimp that was BOGO so we are having shrimp, crab legs, french fries & hush puppies. YUM!!!!! Thinking about going back tonight and getting some more while they are still on sale.

I hope your husband is OK and I know that the immediate med place acts as a pain clinic too. I know that if they give you a pain shot they make sure that someone is there to drive you or they won't give the shot. Obviously he got some other type of shot since they didn't make anyone sign that they were driving him home. I hope all involved will be OK but as far as the people that he hit are concerned, I don't think they care what the reason was. Insurance company will probably feel the same. It is the same road as the Briar Patch. Not too far from the CVS on the same side of the road. They are awesome. I try to buy all my meats from them. Never have gotten a piece of meat that wasn't tender. Cube steak doesn't have all the gristle etc either. You can cut it with a fork. Best steaks too!

All of their meats are the best and I agree on the cube steak. Best I have ever eaten!

I will try it! I am willing to try anything at this point. The doctor is setting up an appt for a MRI and said that it should tell them something. I sure hope so. I don't like living on pain pills but there is no other option right now in order to be able to function. Going on no sleep and in pain has got my blood pressure way out of kilter too. It was 157/101 today at his office. Am I just a little stressed????? YES YES YES Been sick for over a month, been in hospital and then this thing with the leg. Something has gotta give!!!!

When Elite Roofing did ours they had one guy on the ground doing nothing but clean up..I was very impressed. They picked up scraps that were no more than 2" in size and then "swept" all around my house with a magnet to make sure there were no stray nails. Glad that they cleaned it up for you.

I am right there with you...I was also told to go see a neurologist since it could be nerve related. They said that pinched nerves hurt like this...I don't know but I am ready for it to stop. Hope yours eases up soon.

I saw it!

Mine was the whole leg with it mainly being behind the knee and it actually felt like the bone was gonna explode if that makes any sense. I couldn't put any weight on it - very strange and extremely scary! I have had shingles before and they are very, very painful. Mine was under my armpit around to the back of my shoulder.

The doctors told me the same thing. Do not wait until the doctors offices open - go straight to the ER if it occurs again!!! Thanks, sometimes I am very hard headed about going to the doctor anyway.

Just got back and they said there was no evidence of a blood clot. They aren't sure what it was that is causing the pain. After taking a Percocet & an asprin it has eased up. Hopefully it was just a fluke thing and won't happen again. They said if it happened again to get back up there asap. Thanks for all the concern and suggestions.

LPPT - yes, my hubby is here to take me. I took Avelox for 10 days and it did nothing for my infections and I ended up in the hospital anyway. I will Never take it again that is for sure. Hopefully this is just a side effect of the medicine. I have no swelling at all and I thought if you had a blood clot that the leg would swell? Can you get clots with no swelling?

Thanks everyone! I will call as soon as they open. I just know that something is bad wrong - never felt like this before. I was on blood thinners when I was in the hospital last week but they were stopped when I came home.

I woke up this morning about 4 am with SEVERE right leg pain. I almost fell getting up and had to actually pull myself up. It hurts so bad - feels like the bone is gonna explode. I have been real sick with bronchitis etc for over a month and had to take Avelox and one of the side effects of this med is "blown tendons". I have soaked in a hot tub of water for 45 minutes and it is not easing up. Anyone every had something like this and what was it? It is very scary, I can barely walk and have to hold onto something because of the pain.

I took early retirement in May 2007 and have never looked back! CONGRATULATIONS and enjoy all the fruits of your labor for all those years.
