I'm wondering if they will try and get Charlie Strong back from Louisville now. Florida could easily offer him more money, and it's not like staying up there offers him more incentive.

WOW! They just broke into the Meineke Bowl to tell that on ESPN a few minutes ago. I haven't quite known what to make of it since. They talked about how it's related to his health and family. I haven't liked the guy since before he was even at UF, but I certainly hope he's not dying or anything. I'm wondering if something is truly wrong with him or if he realizes that his best days at UF are behind him, and he's getting out before the 2010 season, which is bound to be a bit tougher than these last couple of years have been. The fact that he could not wait and announce this after the Suga

Russell totally got screwed. I've never been so disappointed with a winner than I was with this one. Natalie has to be the worst winner that they've ever had. What on Earth did that girl do besides follow Russell from day one? The fact that the four of them were able to survive so long despite being vastly outnumbered at the merge was nothing short of remarkable, and Russell was the biggest reason why everything kept going in their favor. Nobody has ever found a hidden immunity idol without some kind of a clue, yet Russell found THREE of them. The guy was often a jerk, but so what? He pl

Shocking. I always loved her voice on King of the Hill and thought she was good in Just Married and Clueless. She was also in this very funny SNL skit about six or seven years ago where she was trying on these leather pants in this store where these crazy characters played by Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz worked.

I've always enjoyed watching him cover the dawgs and do the Mark Richt show on Sundays following games.

I wonder the same every time I drive by there.

So many words, yet so little sense. Like the rest of the gator nation, you get all bent out of shape when someone calls out little Timmy, but you turn a blind eye when any of them does the gator chomp (A taunt) towards another team. Let me guess, you think Brandon Spikes is a good guy, too, right?

The real smart tech fan might also know something about making separate paragraphs and doing at least a brief spell check before posting, but I guess we can save that for another thread. It makes perfect sense for you to be a tech fan. They always live through whomever routinely plays the dawgs, so I see why you closed your previous message the way you did. If you have forgotten all of those facts, then surely you expected to be instantly called out by any real dawg fan following your comments about us not knowing what it's like to make Tebow cry. Our defense made two Heisman candida

Wrong. I guess you missed the cocktail party two years ago when Tebow walked off the field crying like a little baby after being slammed to the ground numerous times by Marcus Howard and the UGA defense. That along with the fact that you seem to cheer for like half of the SEC lets me know that you probably don't know what you're talking about, anyway.
-
I'm betting you don't have a problem watching Tebow and other gator players do the gator chomp, though, right? That's one of the least classiest things in college football, but Tebow gets a free pass since he's such a sweet little choir boy. All last night did was show that the guy being billed by some as the "greatest football player ever" is actually a big puss who can't handle losing. Yeah, best of luck ever being a big time player at the next level.

Thanks. I downloaded that, but I don't recognize any of the files that it brought up during the scan.

What is a really good program for doing this on your PC?

Winning last night should prevent the dawgs from falling any further than the Music City Bowl. I would tell the techies to enjoy either the Gator or Orange Bowl, but what happened last night pretty much sucked the joy out of their season. Just like in '06, many techies would have happily taken a loss in either the ACC Championship Game or their bowl game if it meant laying one of the dawgs. It's a big game for our fans, but it's always like the Super Bowl for tech fans, and a loss will typically suck the joy out of any remaining games. Perhaps this should be the real matchup in Tampa ne

It looks like Ben Jones remembered tech players ripping at the hedges following last years game. I know what my new desktop background will be.

How about we drink for joy and use the tissue to prevent the tears of joy from ruining our beer? I have to apologize for mistaking the jackets for a legitimate top ten team. I forgot that they aren't using to playing with this much attention, or perhaps I wouldn't have been feeling as bad heading into tonight. The ACC Championship Game sure lost some of its luster with both participants getting topped by their unranked, in-state rivals from the SEC. I've now got to see 15 victories against the jackets, but this one definitely tops them all. Tech's having their best season in nearly twenty

Like I said, enjoy it while it lasts. Tonight should mark the end for some of the pieces of the staff that continue to hold the dawgs back.

Can't blame the techie fans for putting down the video game controllers and actually showing a little spirit during the rare occasion that their team is actually favored over the dawgs. Maybe the stands won't look quite as much like Sanford West tonight. What little faith I had left in this team went out the window last week, so I'm not expecting good things. It would not surprise me if the jackets jumped out on us like we did them in '02, but you never know in a rivalry game. Joe Cox has been a big let-down, but I figure if Reggie Ball can come close to beating us four times, then I ha

I do, and I don't recall ever falling asleep.

Not really. The previous six Uga's have all been on the job for around eight and a half years, so it has not been common for them to die this soon. In addition to being the biggest of all the Uga's, I've always thought that he seemed to be the laziest and least active of the ones that I've seen. Uga V and Uga VI were both very active and seemed to always be doing something on the sideline, whereas Uga VII was seen snoozing numerous times since last season. Perhaps this is part of the reason why. Uga has not traveled to non-home games before, but I'm not sure when the last time he wasn'

It's pretty well known to those outside of Gator country that Brandon Spikes is a punk who looks like he's actually about 40, so this incident did not surprise me one bit. How often this kind of stuff happens is irrelevant. It still does not justify Spikes repeatedly digging his fingers inside the facemask of a defenseless player. I certainly would not defend any UGA player who got caught doing this on camera. Football is a rough sport, but there's no need for that kind of behavior. If you're angry about something that happened earlier, then get back at the other team by lining up and kno

I might need the assistance of a local band on Thursday from around 12:20 PM until 2:25 PM. I would need the band to perform a song while I directed the taping for an Entertainment class in Kennesaw. The song would probably need to be between 3:30-4 minutes (Will find out for sure tomorrow) long and would need to at least be fairly clean. There would not be any money involved, but the good thing is that we'll be taping the final performance, so you could get a free multiple camera production tape of your band performing. The band would need a minimum of three members, and I could transport

It was definitely a memorable game. Right before the game, it was raining as hard as I've ever seen it rain in Athens, and even I was debating leaving at halftime if it continued like that. Luckily it slacked up as the game started, and did not rain too hard after that. With the exception of a few minutes in the fourth quarter, the rain stopped altogether for most of the second half, so it was fine. I'd much rather prefer sit in that rain than some cold November rain. As for the game, it was just a flip-flop of how we've played over the past two weeks. Over the past two weeks, everyo

It's not his fault at all, but I can see why any defender would try to tag him extra hard. As annoying as it gets to the non-gator fans out there, you know it has to be ten time more annoying to their upcoming opponents. Tebow actually came very close to signing with Alabama, but Urban's offense was much more suited for what he could do.
