this is true. I think our justice system has so many great things about it that work more often than not and have for a long time. But, I'm with ya...if there is a FULL confession, I have no issue going straight to the punishment. So many times the criminal has more rights than the victim and their family.

I wouldnt have a problem at all using a lil' whiskey on my baby's gums. Women now think every little thing is going to break their baby. If they dont read it in Parent magazine(double gag !), they wont even think of it. Old fashioned remedies like this worked then and they work now.

Well, although I dont know all the reasons this court took 3 weeks to pick a jury, I CAN see why that really is such a pivotal part of the trial. It makes or breaks the case. If someone I loved was on trial, I would want them to take all the time they need and pick the very best jurors for that case. However, the system is flawed. I have always been paid on commission and I wouldnt get paid either. I think they would give me $12/day or something but it's obviously not enough to replace my income.

you know, if they do get the death penalty, we will pay more for him than if he spends the rest of his miserable life in prison? Yet another thing that reinforces the fact that if you want to mess anything up, leave it up to our government.

I think that way b/c lately more often than not, it IS a family member that does something sinnister. It's not what most people naturally think of but reality has shown that we now have to include that scenario too. If not, you're living under a rock.

right there with ya! I worked in my yard today and the cooler temp was sooooo nice. Got lots done and planted half of my pansies. It's going to be down to 52 here in Valdosta tonight! I thought it would NEVER happen! The heat will not be turned on. I love a chilly room to sleep in. Good lord. You gonna freeze that poor man out again this year?!

Yes. I saw the parents interviewed on Today. They mentioned the boys. It was pitiiful. They are too little to know anything which is good but they said each time they come home from the police dept, an interview, etc., the boys run to them asking if they found Lisa. :(

I LOVE to cook and comfort food is my absolute favorite . I made chicken and dumplings with veggies tonight which is one of my go-to's for Fall and Winter. Also, white chili, potato cheese soup, casseroles, soups and stews of all sorts and homemade brunswick stew I've worked on for years are some of my favorites. What about you? I'm hoping to get some new recipes so post them if you can .

A police friend of mine in Cobb County told me one time the percentage of how many people call 911 for directions and I was floored! I cant remember the exact figure but it was a lot and certainly way more then I wouldve ever guessed. 911 asking for directions?! Not emergency directions. Just like 'I'm trying to find the mall" directions. I tried calling 911 after witnessing a wreck. It was busy for the first 3 times I called. Somebody probably needed directions.

thats good. I wanna know where they were exactly. Lost in Fulton county woods? Not saying you couldnt get lost but if you walked in any direction for a few hours you would come across SOMEBODY. It's not like they were in the Amazon.

Yeah, it looks questionable. I have read a few survival stories though where someone(usually the man)makes the decision to go look for help. I think it just depends on the situation. In a lot of cases, finding help might be the only chance they have.

Most phones can be tracked even if theyre off. I really have a gut feeling the police are zero-ing in on the Mother and are biding time until they get enough on her to make an arrest. There HAD to have been more evidence. Sometimes they keep it quiet if it will cause the perpitrator to run, etc. If they dont do it carefully and precisely following every law and procedure, they can blow the whole thing and the guilty run free. I agree that the Mom isnt very bright. She comes across very air-headed and almost juvenile herself. Thats another reason I think they are building a case agains
