Paulding Foxfire Project for Southern Flight 242 Crash
jbl replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Sounds like a great idea surepip, history is cool! I live in New Hope, love the area , only lived here for 8 years though, (if property taxes don't go down I will be in Cleburne Co, next year). I am confused with the new pictures, I cant relate to the Amoco station or the exact crash area? It sounds like a great venture! History research is very rewarding. Thank you Sir! -

What Can We As a Society Do About These Horrible Tragedies?

I honestly think it has a lot to do with super violent movies and computer shoot/kill games. -
I'm a HUGE supporter of law enforcement but this irks me

Times are tough, I have no problem with them eating free everyday. But those blue HEAT cars riding my ass, waiting on me to run over the white line does bother me. It's almost as bad as the motorcycle cop in Powder Springs that hides behind the tree in front of the church with his radar gun! I respect and like most all cops, but dang, stop harassing me because of the car I drive. -
No contact but close, I almost ran over the Sheriff in the Ace Hardware parking lot. He was in a hurry and popped out from the side of a Yukon, I was going a bit fast. Talk about starting the day off bad, whew!

I would say she is probably a bit uncomfortable with having to move in with her daughter all the way from Colorado. Ask her what she would like do do? Party or chill? Start there.

It is a scary video, I smoke cigars, started when my wife of 25 years passed. I started on purpose with a reason you might not understand. Now I understand staying alive is a great thing. I wish I had never started.

This is my biggest reason that I prefer the fair tax. I would rather know up front -- with no hidden agendas I completely agree: You should read this crap HB 386: http://www1.legis.ga.gov/legis/2011_12/sum/hb386.htm

Sorry I was wrong on my interpretation of an excise tax, I was thinking a tax is a tax is a tax. maybe not: Excise tax in the United States is an indirect tax on listed items. Excise taxes can be and are made by federal, state and local governments and are far from uniform throughout the United States. Excise taxes are collected by the producer or retailer and not paid directly by the consumer, and as such often remain "hidden" in the price of a product or service, rather than being listed separately. This is thought to explain their appeal to many politicians.

Thanks JTH, I read the bill (sort of) and the item that stuck out the most was the option of the counties to create a excise tax. That is just in case they start loosing money from the lost birthday tax. So I don't foresee a reduction. I would also like to see a consumer based tax system and not so much burden on the homeowner.

Now, I don't know much about the "Larger Bill", but I don't see it reducing my income or property tax, from what I read. Explain it to me.

Smart guy NY gal, I viewed that already. He is holding back, I can tell...

Talk about no oversight, Retention ponds, built by developers that have no maintenance, that flood causing silt into major streams, creeks that kill fish and everything downstream. And with that no state or county legal punishment, upon developers that destroy OUR/YOUR water sources. If you are a developer, and you destroy the land, and water around your project, then the legal jurisdiction that covers that area should hold you responsible. That does not happen in Paulding co.

I love Aldi's, especially the prices, I go to the one in Acworth mainly. My only problem with them is when I get hooked on a certain product, like the morning time sausage and biscuits, I go back a couple of weeks later, and there gone, no more. Same with the instant grits, gone, no more. After two months still no biscuits or instant grits. Produce is great, Checkout time is great. Kroger can keep their loyal peeps and prices, no more Kroger or Publix for me.

I will take them if you run out of options, just message me.

I use this type kit, not for everyone, it's hard to set up. But I am almost never out of ink. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Combo-CIS-Refill-ink-Kit-EPSON-Artisan-725-835-/310275540418?pt=BI_Toner&hash=item483ddd05c2
