Well, I lost my job today. I did not see that coming but the company is going under. I had been with them for 11 months. Long story short, I was a sub-contractor who worked from home setting appointments for a marketing company. They paid me bi-weekly with direct deposit. I am responsible for my own taxes. Do I qualify for unemployment?

Was this the gentleman that was hit in Cartersville? I did not know him personally but knew of him. My thoughts are with his friends and family.

I love my Compaq. As I said in another topic.........The Compaq is going to be less than $200 on Black Friday at Wally World. I am wondering if it can be placed on layaway now and then have the price adjusted on Black Friday?

I love you. Seriously, all I eat is prepacked or fast food and I KNOW that is what my problem is.

If you can wait until Black Friday Wally World has an HP Compaq for less thank $200. I purchased the same computer a year ago and use it as my main computer all day long. I have never had a problem with it. (Well, once I thought I did but I was wrong...it was a user error).

I think the "If we build it, they will come" thinking has proven itself wrong. We built (or remodeled for) colleges........no profit there. We built sidewalks to nowhere.......brought nobody in. We built shopping strips all up and down 278..........most of them are empty. We built an airport.............nothing is happening there. Sorry, Paulding County. They have not come. Stop throwing good money after bad.

I believe he is telling the truth. I do not believe he will make a good president.....never have and never will.......and it is NOT a racial thing. There is something about him that I do not like and I have not figured it out yet.
