My question is..........where did they get the paint? The reason that I ask is that I sent my son into Wally World to get me a can and they said that they weren't allowed to sell it to him. This was a year ago but when I went in I was told that you had to have ID to buy paint.

According to the voting......The majority of us would help our kids then expect them to repay their debt to us and society.

Interesting question. I think that most of us would have thought gang related and asked that it be cleaned up and that the kids paid for their actions.

I can understand your question and will not argue with it. I am just saying make the kids PAYBACK society, not ruin their lives. I would much rather see these kids working their butts off cleaning up their mess and paying people back than to see them sit in jail and then be convicted of felonies. If they are charged with felonies then everybody loses. Show them that their choices have consequences but then let them go on to make something of themselves AFTER they have paid the debt off.

Agreed. BUT, make them work their butts off to clean it up and pay back society and the parents. Heck, with this many kids doing community service we can have the whole county cleaned up in no time. They can clean the streets, empty lots that people complain about, cut the grass for every senior citizen in town, etc.... PAYBACK but do not ruin their lives.

All I hear................ I hear exactly what you are saying and agree with you. These kids SHOULD be punished, severely BUT their lives should not be ruined. As a parent, yes I would bail my son out. THEN he would begin by paying me back and work his butt off to clean the school up. Some people think that leaving them in jail is the answer. I think PAYBACK is the answer. But let them pay for what they did and do not ruin their lives because they did something dumb.

I understand and respect what each of you have said in this thread. I do not care for them either but each person has a different way of dealing with grief. If this helps the person who posted it to deal with it then I do not begrudge them that act. I am not saying that it is right, just that some people deal with things differently.

Thank you, that makes sense. So then there were probably more involved than the 16 that are listed. I am NOT going to throw any stones or accusations at the kids OR the parents because I know how easy it is to do something dumb and regret it later. BUT, it was dumb and you would think that they would have done it to a rival school and not their own.

I have always been under the impression that the names of minors could not be revealed when they were in trouble. I see now that I was wrong. Wow, 16 of them and I know one. It appears that bond has not been granted either. So are these kids in YDC or jail?

Took our first trip after lunch today........big mistake. The place was a madhouse. The prices were nice but I was unable to really shop much because of the same gang of people who made it their mission to block every isle that I went on. I did get a few things and will go back during off hours. My sister was really impressed.

There are people known as "inspectors or scouts" that do this sort of thing all day long. I am not saying that these men were legit BUT people do get paid to do this. Several people I know do this. They get paid by banks and mortgage companies. Some are even paid by companies to make sure that people that work from home actually work and have offices set up. Others work in conjunction with repo men to "find" the cars for the men to repo. Again, I am not sure that this is the case in this situation but this is a job that people do.

There is a big Seafood Restaurant on Canton Hwy. In Marietta. They have the word Market in their name (tho I can't remember their name). I wonder if they also sell fresh uncooked fish?
