go to a web site called birthday freebies. I just had a bday this month. you can get coupons for all kinds of free stuff. especially free meals, desserts and ice cream. you can also go to the Atlanta aquarariam for free on your bday. I got some free makeup from Sephora at pennys. I had the coupon with me . so sorry about your dog. I have one of my cats getting tests tomorrow. hope things go better tomorrow.

Paulding Foxfire Project for Southern Flight 242 Crash

i think this is a very good idea. my daddy was a member of the new hope fire department. we were all on the scene within 10 minutes of the crash. we did not know what had happened just heard the sounds and explosion. daddy knew he needed to be there asap. he worked all night doing what he could. there are many others from this area who helped. some are gone now but there stories should be told, by any means they can. and the money made should go to a larger memorial. -
thank you, thank you very much.

i worked for years in the school system in after school program. YOUR child NEEDS to have pencil and paper and crayons in their backpack. every day the adults Had to find these items from our supplies for homework time. by schools end there were no pencils to loan. the children keep them or lose them. they do not care, it is not their stuff. the employees bought these things. every day tons of time was lost hunting these items and sharpening pencils. just send your kids to school prepared to learn. NOT with the excuses of i don't have these things. because they love to have excuses to continue

does anyone personally know someone who could come 5 or seven days a week around 11am to help with getting my bedridden parent up. it would only be for about 90 minutes tops. you would have to help get him changed, bedbath, use the hoya lift and set him in his chair. we have used several home healthcare places. they can only come for a certain period of time. hospice also can no longer come at this time. we live in new hope. thanks. if you can help please let me know what you would charge.

How to lower speed limit on a neighborhood rd
mm12 replied to beautymaker06's topic in RECENT TOPICS
i live on bone circle in new hope. it is a short road. NOW IT IS A SHORTCUT ROAD. TONS OF CARS COME THROUGH HERE EVERY DAY AND NIGHT ALL OF THEM SPEEDING................ i can not walk across the road without waiting for a car to pass by. this is a neighborhood not a racetrack . people run off the road into the edge of my yard EVERY DAY SEVERAL TIMES A DAY because they are SPEEDING. IF YOU RUN OVER ME WHILE I AM MOWING MY GRASS........I WILL HAUNT YOU.....SLOW DOWN or do not use this road, you are not saving any time by coming this way. now i have vented, i feel better. thank you. -
ok very simple greased with crisco cast iron skillet. oven 425 degrees, mix 1 egg, with white lily buttermilk cornmeal yellow mix, add 1 part canned cream and 1 part water. i do not measure. just mix up enough of cornmeal, water, cream until it looks thick enough but not too dry. after doing this several times, you will know the correct mixture. this fills my grannies number 8 skillet about half full. i use canned cream, because i always have it on hand. milk not always. 10 days shy of 42yrs. of marriage, i have not had him complain yet. good luck.

let me tell you about a memory i have from a funeral procession i was in. this happened in another county. my great aunt had passed away, we were going to a city cementary. cars were pulling over and i noticed people on the sidewalks stopping. i saw this older guy, he was not well groomed, his clothes were in bad shape. he stopped walking when he saw the procession. he stood very still and he removed his hat. i remember that moment very clearly. he probably did not know us, i knew i did not know him, but he still showed his respect, probably because his parents had taught him too. i always pul

Soooo many "egg hunts", wonder if kids are tired of them!
mm12 replied to jazzygirl's topic in RECENT TOPICS
when our daughter was young she loved to hunt eggs. she would make her daddy hide eggs for a month, they were plastic. we always colored eggs for easter the day before. it was always about the thrill of the hunt. the easter bunny was the only one who brought candy. our granddaughters love to do the same thing. they colored eggs on sat. morning and hunted plastic empty eggs until they left. it is all about taking turns to hide and hunt the eggs. not the candy, i give very little. i gave them dry erase boards and dress up skirts and special drinking cups. my granddaughters are 3 and 6 yrs old. t -
