  1. I can't just let this go with the weird eye blinkie thingy ... You seem to have your information a bit mixed up. The huge vast majority of commercial meat is feedlot beef that is corn/grain fed. In fact, most Americans will go their entire lives without ever tasting grass only beef. Grass only is more expensive to raise and takes longer. As for the taste ... that's a personal thing. Grassfed has less fat and that's were the expected taste in beef comes from and so that would be the difference. For those that prefer a leaner meat or wild game, the grassfed would be a better taste.
  2. Good luck. I used to go to the same one. I wasn't as fond of his as you seemed to be but he was at least competent and close and covered by my insurance. I've just gone without since he closed at the end of the summer.
  3. Find what cheap flights AirTran has going and go to another city for dinner.
  4. Private room small dinner party at a nice restaurant and a substantial gift card/pre-paid visa thing that she can use to do what she wants with her chosen group when/where they like.
  5. Wow, really? Because they're spoken well of, or what? What a crappy thing to post. Maybe some should quustion if you're somehow affiliated with another restaurant in the area or something. What is your issue?
  6. And each of those situations would be covered by something the state would provide, not some wing a and a prayer trust the public cardboard tag applied for pile of garbage nonsense. Sorry ... bit of an annoyance I have. Meds don't work ... not much luck with therapy.
  7. There's no simple answer to that ... what part of the county are you in?
  8. This is so far past due. The whole "tag applies for" cardboard signs have always boggled my mind.
  9. What is most disturbing is that it seems almost guaranteed that he wasn't actually trying to kill him. Him else do you explain being able to stab a 6 year old that many times and not actually killing them? To me, that makes for an even sicker individual.
  10. Either, or. You can request copies of the records and your new pediatrician will likely have you sign a form as part of your new patient paperwork to get copies of the files.
  11. Deputies in Florida say a man accused of stabbing his 6-year-old son more than 20 times has been charged with attempted murder. My link
  12. It was about halfway between Scoggins Middle and New Georgia Elementary ... he wasn;t interested in sticking around for an interview or anything but I certainly got a good look at him.
  13. I saw a bobcat run across Mulberry Rock one day.
  14. I'll be taking the cash option for around $180,000,000 ... thanks for your $1.
  15. That should be pretty easy. LOL!!!
  16. I would like to thank you all for contributing to what will be my very large retirement fund.
  17. According to this link, they are common state-wide ... link
  18. There are threads in this very forum discussing the displays of Easter candy in stores prior to Christmas ... I, like many people, received Christmas money and.or gift cards and am now out buying my own Christmas gifts as well as a few things for people that I will be having a belated Christmas with. I also buy some of my Christmas decorations and wrapping stuffs for the next year now and, given that it is still within the 12 days of Christmas, see nothing wrong with any of it. It's lovely that you are our very own special Christmas Cop, though. Gosh golly, we're so lucky to have you.
  19. That seems to have worked out fine for you and your kids but there is very real science that supports how the human animals grow and develop and, generally speaking, that is not healthy or in the best nutritional interest in a human infant. Sure, that's logical ... use an extreme and rare case to argue against a generalization. That makes perfect sense.
  20. What planet are you from? People still buy Christmas stuff after the actual day and have for some time. And now we have Easter candy on the shelves before Christmas so I think you're barking up a pointless tree.
  21. While I fully recognize that childhood obesity is a very real problem, it is asinine to label a 9 month old as obese.
  22. Why do you use titles for your threads that are so clearly not what your links say? "Heat is not lost through your head ..." Really? You don't lose heat through your head?
  23. Ending later than ever before? Are you kidding?
