If you turn in work reports/presentations with typos, you will likely find yourself in my office. If you send correspondence to my customers with misspelled words, you'll likely find yourself in my office. We all make occasional mistakes but a regular issue of poor spelling is absolutely inexcusable in the business world.

Imagine if there was a mistake and your completely innocent online business was seized in this manor and your customers saw that big ole notice for however long it took to clear the matter up. How much business would you have when it was over? Now I admit that I do not know how much investigation goes into the decision to seize these sites but that big ole notice seems to fly in the face of "innocent until proven guilty."

And they put up a nice big notice, too.

I don't agree with it being illegal but I also wouldn't whine if I did the stuff and got busted with it. As long as it is illegal, like it or not, if you get busted it's all on you. Do the crime, do the time. Think the law is stupid, do something about it. Work to get it changed. In the meantime, be ready to pay to play.
