Ditto on the bending over with water thing. ONLY you have a straw and you'll have to sit the water down bend over it so you are looking at the floor then you cup your hands over your ears while you drink the water. Works every time.

Just FYI, next time put the brush in the freezer in a plastic bag (with paint on) until about 30 minutes before you are ready to use it the next time. Works like a charm then only have to clean when you are completely finished.

We've had friends and family drop us off when we've flown.

Daughter and son in law had their cat declawed. He hasn't been the same. It's been three years and he still pouts, isn't as friendly as he once was. He also licks his paws almost all the time. Clip her nails and keep them trimmed. Get her several of the inexpensive cardboard scratch boards put them in as many places as you see her trying to claw. Use a little of the cat nip that comes with them to attract her to it. There is also a kind of tape to deter her from clawing fabric, like the couch. She's a kitten, work with her. Even take her to where you want her to claw each time
