exactly there, Croatan National Forest

In N.C. they would shoot from the gravel road at the deer as he was crossing, but that was a National Forest with not a house in sight. It was legal. So, not necessarily common sense!

What are the "rules & regulations" on Deer Hunting in this county? I used to go hunting a long time ago as a girl in N.C.., they used walker dogs to run the deer out of the woods. That is when they had the chance to shoot. I know that you can't hunt in the dark, or under spotlights, unless you are defending your crops on your property. I saw a deer this morning around 8 am on Bethel Church Rd. He didn't have any horns, but looked fairly big. He crossed the road and stopped short about 100 yards off of the road. Me too!!! I have an artificial pre-lit tree. I put extra lights on it. Colored and white because I like them both. I like lots of color and sentimental ornaments.

flew south for the winter already! Me and The General were talking about this the other day. Our seed is out, but they are gone. I miss all the cardinals, mourning doves, blue jays, tohees(? that's what my husband calls them), and lots of others!

Yes!! I miss my Great-Grandma's Oyster Pan Dressing. She would make a pan with oysters and one without! I've never liked mushy stuffing from out of the bird.

Ok, it's time for me to be a little more clear. My BFF is of the opposite sex, and we are married. Now, ur going to say, "what a horrible husband". Not the case. Just pretty odd and non-supportive behavior. It hurts. It stings. It gets in the way of everything else,too.

Well, this person is supposed to be my BFF. Ummmm...Maybe they are jealous of my time being spent in other places than it used to be. I like what I do, ALL OF IT! That's why I named this post "Mama said". I was talking to my mother just the other day, and she said that this would happen. She also said don't listen to the you can'ts; you shouldn'ts, & the you won't succeeds, and to just keep on truckin' no matter what. Especially if you believe in yourself and what you are doing! there would be days like this. Just when someone lifts you up, someone comes along and knocks you down! I was just told that certain meetings, etc. that I go to, are a big waste of time. ???!!!!! I just don't even know what else to say at this point.
