I think the main problem will be that it has been painted over. I have that same issue. I'm interested in the best answer also. Dee

Weatherboy, I agree with you also, we feed the birds and squirrels. We have a birdhouse in our back yard that has 2 baby squirrels in it right now. They are so cute. We also cut apples in half and put in the woods for the deer. We also have a neighborhood stray cat that we've feed for years, He always comes and eats more on the really cold days. We've tried to bring him into the house to join our other animals but he wants no part of it. Dee

My son just drove down Morningside drive and said that Licklog creek is rising again and it is almost at the closest house to the creek. We are so scared this is going to happen all over again. I'm in the heating and air conditioning business and one of our dealers is doing work for Fema and he ordered a system this morning for one of the flooded houses and called back to put it on hold because Fema told him they were afraid this area in Austell was going to flood again today. -
I appreciate all of the reply's, this is in our rental house and we've never used the fire place before so we want to have it looked over and the damper might need some work also. thanks Dee

SO how many people in paulding have flood insurance
deedoodle replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We have flood insurance and it was required by our mortgage co because we have a flood plain at the back of our property. It is a seperate policy and handled seperately thru a different company. We are glad we have it because we got flooded real bad. Our basement had 18 inches of water in it and the pool in the back yard is now full of muddy creek water. Unfortunally the pool is not covered. There is a lot that it doesn't cover so if you purchase flood insurance read the fine print. Dee -

My favorite author is Karin Slaughter. She writes a series called Grant county. She was born in Georgia and this series takes place in a small Georgia town. These are mysteries. The main two characters are a small town sherrif and his wife who is the town doctor/coroner. I've read them all and am jonesing for a new one

Yes, we cannot leave any bread, cookies or donuts on the counter or they will get eaten over night. I also had a cat that would follow me outside when I'd be putting out stale bread for the birds, he'd go and eat it all. I have two young cats that are very attracted to cut flowers. If we have a cut flower arrangement out they will try to eat it.

Yes, Dusty attended Hiram. We just got back from the funeral. It was very nice, but the saddest funeral I have ever been to. Children shouldn't die. So sad

Dusty is my son's best friend, he was the sweetest boy, we love him and will miss him terribly. RIP Sweet one

We bought some filet's there last Friday and they were excellent. The gound turkey comes in a roll in the freezer case to the right when you come in the door. They said they do not get asked for it much.
