Starting to stick on the grass and the top of the retaining wall.

Sticking to everything on the back deck, including the deck. Sticking to the stairs and railing to the front porch, too.

Already beginning to stick to things like the grill cover and the table on the back deck.

Already a noticeable increase in the rate of snow falling. Still small flakes.

Snow falling in Union. Small flakes but noticeably larger than the stuff that fell earlier.

That was almost two weeks before your due date. I think that's expecting a bit much. Go back and try again next week.

Releasing at regular time ... all elementary afterschool programs will be closed and all extracurricular activities are canceled. Continue to watch the weather as things may change quickly.

I think I scared it ... the stuff that was falling here has stopped. I sure wish the young un would fall asleep again so I can put here down and get something done this morning.

Ok, we have our first snow sighting here in Union. Imagine the lightest of drizzles in the form of snow. Tiny, tiny little flakes and very few of them ... but they are there.

If they're leaving this morning, I would guess they'll be ahead of the snow.

I think I've jumped to your camp on this one. With nothing even started yet anywhere near us, I would be surprised if they were sending them home in 2-3 hours.

Weather Channel right now is showing a graphic with Atlanta getting 3-5.

I know ... and it would have been very nice to wake up to snow everywhere.
