My light bill has been running right at $400 a month the past 3 months. In the winter it runs no more than $75 a month, but is usually cheaper than that. Right now my gas bills are $12 a month, but in a few months they will end up being $300-$400 a month. We put up window tint stuff too, and darker curtains. So in your view the USA is not or ever was a Christian nation,even though every one of our founding documents talk about Christianity? Our money says "In God we trust". We have "One nation under God" in our pledge. What exactly then is this country? My Grandparents sat at the kitchen table to eat dinner. When my Grandmother got up she noticed something under the table coiled up. It was a copperhead. Thank goodness it didn't strike one of them. She had to call animal control. They sent their snake guy out to remove it,and he took it out to some woods off of Cedar Mtn. road. I would have had a heart attack had I been there when she found that thing. lol We all have a big fear in life, and mine fear would be snakes.

Tough love can be a very hard thing on us as parents. I have gone through this with my youngest who's 17. Every day is a battle to get him up and dressed for school. I didn't like getting up at 6:30 either when I was his age, but I am very thankful for getting my education. I always explain to him how important an education is and that he needs to get used to getting up early. He wants to go into the army. lol I told him that they get up at 4-5am, and that if he doesn't do what they tell him he will be scrubbing toilets.

Heck they burn them here in America. They had a big flag burning up in NYC a couple of years back,and were chanting about death to all infidels. I would never force a religion down someone elses throat, but the Muslims want to do just that. The sad part is that there are towns here in America doing just that. They are catering to one religion. Girl works at target who's muslim. She refuses to scan pork at the register, so they move her to a non food area of the store. School district up north is banning pork products of any kind from their schools. One city is in talks to implement Sharia law.

I think Wellstar hospitals in general are getting better. Inpatient care to me is great at any of them. It's their ER's that have been less than par in the past. The very long waits and then being rushed through. My Daughter works as a Unit secretary in the ER at Kennestone. She tried explaining to me how they do things there in the ER. It is completely different than how they do things at Douglas, but Kennestone is a much larger hospital as well. Back in 1997, I went to both Douglas and Cobb ER's atleast 2 times per month in the worst pain I could ever imagine. It was worse than labor pains.

Explain to me how I am an extremeist? I would never beat someone to death because I feel too much of their face is showing. I would never expect someone to change their way of life to suit mine. I do not view Islam as a religion. I view them as barbaric people. I love me some french onion soup from longhorn steakhouse, but I have never made soup with those lipton onion soup packets. I normally pour them over a roast or mix a pack with home cut potatoes that I bake in the oven. I would try it though, because I do love onion soup. YES!!! Back in July in my garage. I hatttttttttttttte snakes. I am like Indiana Jones when it comes to snakes. I freaked out. It was a good 5 feet long and dark in color. I couldn't even tell you what kind of snake it was,because I quickly ran back into my house. I called a friend over to make sure it got out of my garage, because I needed to go check my mail. I was expecting something important that day. That's what I was headed out to do when I saw that monster in my garage. lol I would NEVER go back into my house again if I found a snake in it, especially a venomous snake. HA

3 weeks ago when I was vacationing in Gatlinburg, I started getting sick. Mine started out with an earache, fever and a stuffy head. I also had a killer sinus headache. I ran a fever for 3 days, and after that all of the congestion went to my chest so all I did was cough. I am still somewhat congested, but I feel fine now. My ex mother in law works for a pediatrician, and she told me that they are seeing a lot of sick kids with this too right now. It isn't the flu though. Just bad sinus infections. I just bought stuff OTC, and it seemed to help atleast temp.

That just sucks. Let me ask you this. Is this a neighborhood with a lot of rentals in it now, due to the economy? I know here in Douglasville many neighborhoods have property management companies renting out a lot of the homes, and many of them take section 8. I know not all are bad on Govt. funded housing, but I have noticed an overall difference in the crime around here since so many section 8 homes went up for rent. In LA you can buy liquor at a gas station. I was floored by that the 1st time I went there for Mardi Gras back in the 90's. You can even buy alcohol in TN on Sunday after 12. Ga needs to realize if someone wants to drink on Sunday they will just buy more on Sat. I can go to a restaurant on Sunday and drink,which makes no sense to me. You can drink and possibly drive(which I personally do not do), but you can't buy it on Sunday to take back home and drink????
