I remember Dairy Queen and then around 1980 "Dallas Fried Chicken" was in the same location. Dallas Fried Chicken battered their french fries, I loved those. I remember Jack's also. If you ordered a larger fry at Jack's they put it in a drinking cup.

Does anyone know where to buy "Dream Whip". This is in envelopes and you mix it with milk. You use it for desserts. It's on amazon.com but you buy it by the case and I don't want that much. Is it sold in a local store?

You know the old country singer Mel Tillis is the same way. He can sing but stutters when he talks.

One time on the "Beverly Hillbillies" Granny was going to have a seanace. Someone came up to Jethro and said "Are you a medium?". Jethro said "No, I'm an extra large".

I like to watch the try-outs at the beginning. I LOVE it when people are really bad singers and I laugh. I also LOVE it when people are really good. I am hoping that there will be another funny song like "Pants on the Ground". I am still laughing about that and it's been years.

I know. Back in the day, tv shows had a beginnng, middle and end. In other words it had a plot. Nowadays with reality shows there is no plot and no point.

Okay, say I have an elderly person in the family who remembers a lot of oral history of the family. In the old days you could use a cassette tape and have a person speak into it to record the voice. So, WITHOUT using an old fashion cassette how can I do this? I don't want a "Dragon" thing because that types it out. I want to perserve the persons real voice. Is there computer software to do this on a computer? And can it be burned on a disc? Thanks.

Here is a site www.sandyhookhoax.com. I don't believe it was a hoax, but some people do.

I remember the show where Opie had a crush on Thelma Lou. Andy was telling Opie all the things a "grown up lady" didn't like to do, such as playing ball and riding bikes and things like that. Opie said, "Gee Pa, what CAN you do with a grown up lady"?

I read one time that in some places, instead of starting first grade in the Autumn Term you could wait and start in the Winter Term (after the New Year). So I guess the one child could be in the first-half of a grade and the other in the second-half of the grade. But, no, not at any school I attended.

Speaking of condiments, Longhorn Steahouse is suppose to have a new steak-sauce. It says on the website that the sauce is made tableside. Has anyone tried it? How do they make it at your table?

I always put mustard on hamburgers at home. I have my entire life. But almost no resturants offer mustard on burgers. Is my family alone in loving mustard on hamburgers? Please chime in on this serious topic.

My biggest memory is when the "smart" Sleestack that could talk was bragging about how far he and his race had evolved from the hissing Sleestack. He had also fell through a time-slip and thought he was in the past. Then one day he was in the jungle and found his home city in ruins and covered over with vegatation. He then knew he had time-slipped into the FUTURE and his race had regressed to the hissing Sleestack. Pretty heavy topic for Saturday Morning Kid Show!!

He was a minor character but he was great. I remember when "Ralph" gave all the residents of the building a calendar for Christmas. He had went through all the calendars and marked down "National Doorman's Day" on different days through the year on all the different calendars. So every week of the whole year someone in the building gave him a gift or took him out to eat
