You guys are too easily annoyed. I use about 90% of these words. We refer to panties as panties because that's what they are. A dresser and a chest of drawers are different. Some of the girls are just as bad and it generally gets worse this time of year..... And it's not ALL of the boys. Some of them are very respectful face to face, but being teens feel a lot of peer pressure to talk it up. I tell them that I'm not deaf and that they need to talk about something else.

I teach 14 year olds.....and I promise you that my daughter will NEVER be dropped off anywhere. All many of those boys think about and talk about with their friends is getting a girl alone, who kissed who, and did you touch her boob......or more. Yup....what if..... My vote is that nurses stagger their lunch breaks 11am, 12pm, 1pm.....so that there's always one in the office.....but apparently that doesn't work. My dr routinely checked my thyroid at my annual exam. Thank goodness too, because mine whacked out and I never would have related my symptoms to something medical. When you go in for your annual check up, mention this to your doc and have him/her test your iron and thyroid.

Remember that Congress took a pretty big flip this past election.....I don't know if that slowed things down. I haven't read anything that says what Congress has been doing for the last few months and how that relates to this situation. My facebook newsfeed is full of dooms-day statuses that are all kinds of wrong.....reposts n' such. Oh, and the news articles that are being posted......from sites that are obviously extremely biased and are skewing the information to cause outrage from the public. They've put me in a foul mood......and I mean FOUL.

They're getting paid. This is the way I see it (in reference to pay delays, furloughs, etc) and it's not popular. The military gets paid once a month (or at least they did when they were paying me), we just past a payday a week ago so there's a little bit of time before the next payday for this to all get worked out. If not, then the men and women in our armed services have made a very stupid financial decision by not having a savings account with enough funds in it to cover an emergency, which is what this will be IF the check don't come on May 1st. I've gotten a ticket for speeding in a school zone AFTER the blinky lights had stopped flashing. I knew they weren't flashing because I've worked at that school for 7 years and know they stop at 4:20. I asked the cop when does a school zone stop being a school zone and he said he didn't know. Guess who's taking the day off to go to court over it? Waste of resources, if you ask me. Mine has a special light on the dash to tell me when all of them are on or just the daytime ones. I had to look in the manual to figure out why there was a sun/moon light on the dash.

Read an article that said House passed a bill that if there is a shutdown, Congress and the President don't get paid and that the Senate stopped it. I read so many that I don't know if I can find it again.... I still haven't done my taxes. I don't feel like it yet.
