  1. Oh, this thread is about the weather. Not what I was thinking.
  2. Scarlet and Bruce, Prayers sent from our household. Mike and Retha
  3. I'll pitch in for some paragraph breaks. I couldn't make it through that vast expanse of unbroken letters, so I can't follow your story.
  4. I haven't seen one of those since I left Oklahoma in the 80's!
  5. I need those raindrops to stay away from my grill until the chops are cooked.
  6. Update: I cut the garlic down to 1/2 clove, and the fermenting time down to 3 days before refrigeration. Those pickles were really good!
  7. We went to Douglasville today. Everyone there was civil.
  8. Dittos on the Bone Garden. Great food and you won't spend an arm and a leg. The nopalitos salad is a must. It's "traditional" Mexican, which is nothing at all like the Mexican or Tex-Mex places around here.
  9. Dang, we were going to try them out for lunch this weekend.
  10. AP/Fox In this undated publicity image released by Fox, "American Idol" judges, from left, Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres, Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson are shown.
  11. It's the place on Main street near the Mexican restaurant west of the amphitheater.
  12. We were going to go to the Italian place in Villa Rica 2 or 3 weeks ago, but when we got there, the place was gone. Maybe they are just moving.
  13. To be eligible to vote in the runoff election on August 10, voters must have been registered by June 21, 2010. There is no requirement to have voted in the primary in order to cast a ballot in the runoff.
  14. Where are you located? Google Maps couldn't find your address.
  15. And, if anyone didn't vote at all in the primary, they can vote in the runoff for either party. (I think).
  16. I've never been to stonehenge of GA, but I've been to the Cadillac Park in Texas, which is sort of like a stonehenge... Cadillac Ranch, Amarillo, TX
  17. I don't believe I want to turn that forum on. I was hoping someone could provide info where I could see it.
  18. What gets funded if the SPLOST passes that doesn't get funded if it gets voted down? I don't know if I want to vote for or against it.
  19. Mine has that under one of the purple balls, too, but it says OXE-102. I hadn't noticed it before. The text I saw was on the other side of the mailer (or inside, since it is folded over). This is kind of like playing "Where's Waldo?".
  20. That's about the size of a travel trailer we used to own. I lived in it for 4 months while our old house was on the market back in Arkansas, and our new house was being built here. It can be done, but it's not something I would want to do long term.
  21. Look 1/2 inch to the left of the sentence that begins "While Karen Handel claims to represent..." in the area where the dark gray background blends into a lighter gray border. It's printed vertically just inside the left hand border. It is not obvious, so it is easy to overlook.
  22. I got the Hey Big Spender flier, too. This one also has "Onxendine Working for Georgia, Inc." on it. Look on the back side in the lower right hand corner. It's printed vertically along the right margin.
  23. The one I got says "Paid for by Oxendine Working for Goeorgia, Inc." It's in the lower left hand corner in the same color of grey as the flier border.
