  1. Sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers.
  2. I have had my hair professionally colored red before and it fades very quickly (for me, your hair may accept it better!) Have fun with your new do!! You are beautiful so I'm sure anything would look great!!
  3. I had this happen once, I used EVERYTHING including hairspray and rubbing alcohol (ok, not everything...I did not use Magic Eraser). The stain never came off but it did not bleed onto the clothes. As long as you remove any excess ink your future loads should be fine!
  4. My 10 month old son has eczema and I have leftover Lansinoh! I'm going to try this tomorrow!!
  5. These nursing tanks are good, too. I like that your tummy doesn't show when you pull your shirt up. I just stopped nursing (DS is almost 11 months) and I still wear mine. I am having a hard time wearing a regular bra b/c these are so comfy!!
  6. A sleepy wrap. Gee-Tee has seen mine! It's the BEST baby item EVER!!! My son is very high maintenance and there have been nights that the only way I could get him to sleep was in it! I highly recommend one.
  7. My mom did that with me! My sisters were 10, 17 & 18 when she had me...New marriage, new baby I just PRAY that my tubal ligation worked!! We only wanted four and we are DONE!!!!
  8. I am not alone The one he has is for gold so last week he went to an old goldmine are and still found nothing...of value anyway! I told him he should go to Lake Allatoona while it's down and find all of the stuff people lose while boating! And no, he will not be allowed to wear a speedo on the beach while he searches for hidden treasure!
  9. I know, nerdy, right? My older girls each have a small one and they go on "treasure hunts"! They LOVE it but so far the only "treasures" they've found is trash!! I'll be very excited when he can take all four on "trash treasure hunts"!! I'd like to find something 2-3 days a week just so I can get out of the house and do something for ME. I want to feel like I contribute financially but by the time I factor in childcare and gas and work clothes I would probably break even. I'd LOVE to sub at my older daughter's school!! You will have you plate full working FT from home but you'll manage
  10. I can totally relate!! I sometimes envy my husband because he gets time to himself everyday, even if it is at work! Last week he was off on Tuesday day and spent the entire day gone...ALONE! (he's a nerd, he got a metal detector and he just KNOWS he's going to find something of value! I guess it's better than going to a bar and getting drunk and calling me to come get him!) Meanwhile, I was at home with the babies and felt aweful (I may be having surgery soon) I'm lucky if I get to use the bathroom without at least one of the four following me. I do love that I can stay home but there
  11. We all have those days! I know you have boys and I have a 2yr old gilr and baby boy but I am always home during the day, if you ever want to have some adult conversation, I'm sure we can find some place for the kids to play and meet up. We should have a Pcom SAHM playgroup!!
  12. Girl, I'd be in bed NOW!!! Enjoy your sleep!
  13. My son is 10 months and is just starting to sleep a little better. His teeth gave him a lot of discomfort and I think that contributed to him not sleeping well. We feed him what we eat unless it's spicy or really rich but I give him oatmeal with banana and a bottle right before bed. Enfamil also makes a formula called Restfull, it's supposed to keep them full longer but I didn't notice much of a difference. I was spoiled with my 3 girls, they all slept thru the night 8pm-8am from 8 weeks so this has been a BIG shock! I hope he sleeps for you soon, I know it can take a toll on mom when
  14. I saw this place on Travel Channel's "Best Water Parks" and it looks like a BLAST!! Is that the one that has the chute that drops you straight down?
  15. EWWW! I have NO plans of drinking at 9am if I go on this trip!
  16. Thanks. I really hope it works out so that I can go. My hubby just called and I mentioned it to him and he just said "hmmmm". He didn't even bite when I mentioned having his mom come help visit. He goes on a fishing trip with his dad & brother every year and I have NEVER taken a girl's trip. I guess I'll just say "hmmmmmm" next time the fishing trip rolls around. Maybe I should turn this into a seflish husband rant!!
  17. CE, I thought about a cruise. Most of us are here around Atl and I though about us driving to Mobile and having her meet us there. There are some good cruises for 3-4 nights that are reasonably priced. Sounds fun! Thanks for the idea!
  18. My best friend of 18 years called me last week and wants to plan a girl's trip She lives in San Diego and lived in Hoboken, NJ before that so I don't get to see her very often so I'm REALLY excited!. She suggested Las Vegas but I'm not really sure I want to go to there. Does anyone have any suggestions of places that would be good? I don't travel much since I have 4 kids under 8. ETA: I also have to convince the hubby! I think he's a little skeered to be home for days alone with all 4 kids! I think I may suggest the he have him mom come from NC to visit. She HATES me and doesn't com
  19. Thanks for the link!! I am not that "tech savvy" and am a SAHM so I don't really need internet everywhere I go. I LOVE all of the apps available on the iPhone but I just don't think it's what I want. My husband works for AT&T so it would be weird if we had another carrier but we've always been happy and never had a problem with their service. My friend has Verizon and told me what she pays monthly and I about fell out of my chair, it was WAY higher than AT&T!
  20. Samsung Solstice for AT&T? My contract is almost up and I'm not really sure I want an iPhone. I have seen the Solstice and it seems to have what I need and Best Buy has it free with a new contract, I haven't been to the AT&T store yet to see what they have it for. If anyone has it, tell me what you like or dislike about it. I know it has a built in gps which I NEED since I get lost everywhere I go!! TIA!!
  21. GEAgirl, I'm sure you made their day!! I'm sure they'll never forget you!
  22. We LOVE Cobb peds, too! I really miss Dr. Loventhal, he was the one that would see my kids for their well checks but Dr. Cantrell is who we see now. The office staff knows me and all of my kids by name. (which amazes me since the practice is large) The nurse practitioners are great as well! The office is on the right on Dallas Hwy going towards Marietta! ETA: I'm not sure about delayed vaccines, I have them done when they are due
