Had them in Quebec many years ago and, yes, they tasted like chicken. Only food I'll never try again is pigs feet. -
Restaurant on Highway 92 with the Fish
AustinPlantation replied to baseballmom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If you mean The Catfish Den, it's changed hands a few times and now has a new sign for a different type of restaurant, but that one looks like it's out of business already!!! -

Bid let for Carruth widening to four lanes
AustinPlantation replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Do you think they'll level off the interchange at Bill & Hiram Sudie, so you can see folks coming the other way? You're going uphill at a pretty steep angle when you get to the intersection. Seems to be the way they do a lot of the intersections these days.- 6 replies

Probably still go to Cedartown. Quick, and they help you with the tests. Is this going to be a full time person, or once a week like before?

Option 2, they already know they switched, let 'em guess how long they've been a customer and you can, with permission, use it for customers who haven't just switched!!!

Too bad Tyler Perry is opening the giant studio near Six Flags. He probably didn't know about ours? -

Saw these tags to the right of some topics and wondered where they came form. Appeared to be a search button for similar topics, and wondered how they work: Then I started a topic and saw where they came from. Tried to post pics, but didn't show up where I tried to post them, only at end.

North, South, East and West Paulding
AustinPlantation replied to cookies are sweet's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If you have a Douglasville address, that's def South Paulding. We need our own zip code --- don't know how much sales tax goes to that other county. New GA is also South Paulding, I believe. -
Skyline is the one

Def not Chicago, but someone should suggest B'ham, Chattanooga or Nashville and Charotte, and maybe continuing on to Myrtle Beach, Pepsi Cola (lol), Nawlins, Memphis?

I'm not a fan, but if you are a fan of the band Kansas, they're at the Mill Town Music Hall, due West of us in Bremen Saturday night at 8pm. It's their 40th year on the road. Tix are $40-$50 online and $5 more at the door. If you can't find the website for Mill Town, PM me, as I'm not allowed to post it here. Got on their mailing list when I saw Loretta Lynn was gonna be there in April, but she sold out too fast.

Went by Kroger on 61 & 278 yesterday and all the gas signs were blank. Looked like they are retrofitting it like they did at the Ridge Road a few months ago.

Curious, If, instead of driving through Atlanta to Hartsfield during rush hour for a flight, you could drive to Paulding to take a quick shuttle to, say, Birmingham to take a flight from there, wouldn't you do it? And, isn't that why they built the Seven Hills Extension, so you could get to the airport from 75 quicker?

Went to see Charlotte's Web Musical at the Dallas Theatre with our 5 yo granddaughter and her Mom yesterday afternoon. Place was packed and we were sitting back in row Q. Granddaughter still loved it, but did have to sit on our daughter's lap to get a full view. All of the kids there clapped loudly. Didn't realize it was the Youth Theatre until it started, those kids did a great job. There was minimal costuming, the child playing the kid had pig ears attached, but it was fun. They are there again this weekend.
