Went into a supermarket this morning and, on the way in, saw a Mom putting one of those kid-ride-in carts with the seat on the bottom back into the arrival area while holding her young daughter's hand. I have a relative up North who wants to buy a foreclosed condo in Cobb County in order to come down here for at least a few months a year and work as an OT --- he did it a few years back, staying at our daughter's home, enjoyed it and wants to do it every year. Yep, Got 5 $1K BofA Money Orders from someone as a retainer to purchase my home in Marietta. Pretty much suspected a fake. Brought it to BpfA in the morning and, of course, it was fake. Don't try to deposit, even at BofA. before verifying or you can be held liable for trying to pass phony currency.

Last year was the first year that my wife had to take a required mandatory distribution from an IRA, which in year one, you can do until April 1st of the following year. So she did it in January 2014. Question is --- Does she have to put something on her 2013 tax return about that? From what I've seen, the withdrawal gets included in the 2014 return as income, but how does the IRS know that she took the distribution for 2013 by April 1st?
