Since the business card story is a hoax, I would think this one is too. I thought it happened to you. That is why I asked about having them checked. I figured it would be resolved that way. http://www.snopes.com/crime/warnings/burundanga.asp

Do you still have the brochures? Take them to the police. Leave them tied up like they are so the fumes will stay in place.

Oh no! The statistics can't be wrong. We are all going to die . . . Someday!

I don't think so. That takes you out past Lawrenceville.

I don't change the roll half the time. And he doesn't change the roll half the time. Usually, one of us will go in and fix it after the other left it just sitting there. Never really bothered me. Now, putting it on backwards drives me crazy! You have to reach around underneath the roll and search for the loose piece of toilet paper to unroll it. How does that make sense? At least when it is over the top, you just have to roll it down and you have the unrolled toilet paper right there in front.

And the driver survived the accident. That says the car in the photo is safer than you would think. I think that would make it a SMART car if the driver can ESCAPE that kind of crash alive.

High Shoals? Here is a map to the church. http://maps.google.com/maps?oe=utf-8&c...2953&li=lmd You do not turn on Raccoon Creek, stay on High Shoals Rd. It is right past the church (corner of High Shoals Rd and Raccoon Creek) on the left.

Take chances. Try everything. Don't be too embarrassed to do something new. Have no regrets. And FINISH YOUR EDUCATION WHILE YOUR PARENTS ARE FOOTING THE BILL! It's not easy to do with babies in diapers. Those are the things I would tell my younger self. There are other warnings and pitfalls I would like to warn myself to avoid, but if I had warnings, I may not be who I am. -
Thanks!

How do you freeze peppers? I have banana, cayenne, and jalapeno peppers to do something with. I have a dehydrator and I was considering dehydrating the cayennes, at least. It was my mom's, so I have never used it before.

Call all the companies and tell them what is going on. Everyone knows how this works. They will provide some information for you. Not trying to scare you, but watch him closely right now. He is reaching the end of his rope and you need to make sure he realizes how important he is with or without any money. It has been a strange time in this country, and I have seen too many people cross the line due to stress. Make sure he has all the emotional support he needs. You too, but he is on the edge. If you sense he is in real trouble, get him help. There are programs that do not need mo

What office did he go to? Sounds like a longer wait than I have had dealing with them.

You vent away! Your decision will be the right one, whichever way you go. Don't ever second guess it. Trust your instincts and I have faith it will work out okay. Sending good vibes and strong prayers your way to help you through this.

I keep telling myself it is all worth it. I guess it is since I am still out of work. At least I am doing my part to feed the family. And I learned to wear gloves when I cut up peppers.

Green Beans, Salsa, Squash, Okra, Crowder Peas, Purple Hull Peas. I think that is it so far.

If it were from the inside through a window, it would fool you.

My mom lives right near there. Need to call her. -
Trying to remember New Orleans. Little hazy. Wonder why? I think I remember seeing a mannequin dressed like this. Were you by any chance taking a picture of outside through the glass from the inside? With no flash, you could have gotten a reflection from the window without a flash from the camera showing.
-
It is interesting, but it looks like a headless mannequin to me. I am curious about what was around there when the picture was made, or if you took pictures where there were mannequins elsewhere and there was a glitch somewhere. Gotta eliminate the normal stuff before you can say it is paranormal. But it is a cool shot. We worked with a digital camera to make 'fake' ghost pictures in Savannah. We wanted to see if we could take a fake picture with the camera without using the computer or changing settings. It can be done, but it looks fake. We did it to make sure we could identify fa

I never thought I had such an impact on students I've taught
PsychoMom replied to TJB's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have been contacted by former students, and it has been wonderful. And I never realized the impact I had on teachers too. My high school teacher from my sophomore year told me he still has the note I wrote him thanking him and telling him how much he taught me. I gave it to him my last day at that school. I changed schools suddenly and without any notice to me or the school. I didn't even remember giving him a note. He told me he keeps a few notes he has received over the years and reads them when he feels like giving up teaching. It is the strength he needs to keep going. -
The funny thing is, I think I would get along with them so much better now because we actually talk to each other on Facebook. We know each other's lives, and we support each other. Much more than in school. In school, everyone covered up their family flaws because of the risks of ridicule. Now, we know everyone's family is screwy. None of that matters anymore. It is a much different relationship. New friends from people I never talked to in the past.

I went to the 5 and 10 year reunions. People hadn't really changed (attitude-wise) very much. I skipped the 15 and 20. Went to the 25th last year. Much smaller. Much less glitz. Much less cost. We had a great time. I went to 2 high schools. Paulding County's was last year. North Cobb has monthly mini reunions at a local restaurant for everyone who went to school there. They always have a blast, and it isn't a big formal thing. They plan them on Facebook. I hate it when people still live in their high school mind. After all, if you stopped growing mentally in high school, you

Children often dress to what they aspire to be. Think fireman, astronaut, princess, etc. Or as someone they admire. Think superheros, or movie stars, or sports figures. So, if he chooses Jesus, how can that be a bad thing?
