  1. I will be in touch! I never said anything about that one area. I'm glad you say someone else sensed it too. Maybe we will get some good stuff you guys can publish here.
  2. LOL! I have a story or 2 from Cobb. When I first moved to Paulding (from Cobb), I was 12yo. My mother had married a Paulding native, and I was moved from an area with neighbors all around me to the middle of nowhere! It was the kind of place where if you heard a car, they were already in your driveway. No nearby neighbors, nothing but trees, trees, trees. After I adjusted a little, I began 'imagining' things. I could look out my window at night and see an entire Civil War scene. Not a battle. More a camp or base area. I could see men and women wandering around. Some injure
  3. lol! Not anything bad. Well . . . unless you count . . . KIDDING!
  4. I will gladly set up an investigation for anyone who is interested in one. I have some local stories I can't share because of confidentiality, but there are lots! Pubby, the room at the end of the hall up there, past the bathroom, I really wanted to go in there, but it creeped me out, and I didn't know if it was something you had access to. I think there might be some stuff going on in that area. Just a feeling, no experiences.
  5. Next Story! Again, in Yorkville. Creepy! Is Yorkville extra-haunted or something? My husband's best friend lives in Yorkville. They have been best friends since they were in 2nd grade. My husband used to spend the night over at his house all the time. His friend had his grandfather's (or great-grandfather's) old Victrola in his room. The big old record player with the huge arm and needle that had to be cranked to work. Sometimes in the middle of the night, the old Victrola would begin playing by itself. Not an easy thing to have 'just happen' since a record had to be put on i
  6. When I was a teenager, I had a friend whose family had a HUGE antebellum type house. It had so many bedrooms on each floor that I couldn't even keep up with the number. The house was out towards Yorkville. They didn't have the money to restore it, so it was very much in it's original state. Electricity was about it, but that was an addition, not a remodeling project. They had added a bathroom on the lower floor, way on the other side of the house and apparently in an area that had once been outdoors. COLD as all get out in the winter time. When I first went to her house, it was wi
  7. AW! She is going to have the BEST time. Do take pics! My kids barely remember any of it. The pictures (and some video) helps them remember. But, whether they remember it or not, the adventure is worth it. And this is the time of year I took mine the first time. Great time to go. Not too hot and not too rainy and not too crowded.
  8. Ponchos are much cheaper here than they are there. And buy some Disney clothes and stuffed toys from Georgia, because once you cross that state line, the price triples and quadruples on them. You can always hide some in the luggage and they will still be souvenirs of your Disney World trip when they suddenly appear on the pillow at night.
  9. Make sure you have a good map! I went with my mom when my kids were little and we were driving and driving, suddenly there was a huge interstate that was not on her map. It said it went straight to Disney. I couldn't figure out why the map didn't have it on there. I looked at the cover of her atlas, it was from 1971. This was in 1993. So, make sure your map is current. lol! This is the most important thing. REALLY important. HAVE WAY TOO MUCH FUN AND TAKE WAY TOO MANY PICTURES! The memories are worth it.
  10. I thought so too. And if she has made viable threats, she should be hospitalized until they can be assured she is not a threat to herself. 3 times in one week? Does anyone who knows this girl give a damn about getting her the proper treatment? Obviously, keeping her at home and pretending everything is fine and dandy ISN'T WORKING! Sorry. Here I am ready and able to help, and because budgets are cut, I am out of work and there are people who truly need help doing without it. UGH! She needs to be treated. I hope her family makes sure she gets somewhere. Hospitals are understaf
  11. True! Makes you wonder what news is slanted because someone does pay the blackmail.
  12. Why is she NOT in a hospital? Someone is dropping the ball BIG TIME with this girl.
  13. I guess I should have quoted before I responded. It was because Lady Raider said "he never would have fessed up if he hadn't been caught with his pants down." I didn't want to sound like I was singling her out, but I was thinking about why would he fess up? He did something I may not approve of, but it isn't something that is standard public knowledge, so why should we know about it. If it was sexual harassment, that is a different issue than 2 consenting adults. However, harassment was not claimed. So, who cares?
  14. A lot of people are still out of work. I know I am! My son, however, just started a new job at the Toyo plant in Cartersville. They had 9000 applicants. They have hired 16 people so far.
  15. Why would he tell at all? If 2 consenting adults choose to have a sexual relationship, hopefully with neither one in a committed relationship to another person, whose business is it? If I had chosen to have a relationship with someone, I would be pissed if he made it public knowledge on national TV. Why would you expect someone to confess they had had sexual relations with anyone? I don't want details, names, addresses, and phone numbers of everyone each of you have slept with. Why should we expect that of David Letterman? And I never watch him, nor do I really care about the issue

Get better! Lots of love and prayers are going your way. <3
  17. That is why I had to stop mine from watching Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles. Too many ER runs!
  18. $500 would be nice, but $1000 could have real impact.
  19. I saw this on Facebook this morning. Prayers sent to all.
  20. So, all us unemployed people aren't doing a lot of major shopping? SHOCKING! I can see why that is a surprise! I mean, who would expect people without a regular paycheck to limit their spending. (A little sarcastic. Been applying for jobs all day!)
  21. I do have another question. If a sex offender does not have a permanent address (like one who could be living in a tent on a WMA), would they register or not? If not, then is it possible we could have several registered sex offenders living in a small area without registering their location?
