Or even 'Oh CRAB!' Instead of 'Oh Crap!' The idea would have been the same, but it wouldn't have crossed the line the way this one did.

It's not a matter of marketing ON kids' shows, but using children IN a commercial like this. This is not Saturday Night Live, it is a restaurant encouraging families to come to it. I sure as heck wouldn't take my small children there after this. Nor would I want to go as an adult and hear kids with potty mouths being loud and obnoxious.

I think I am through with Joe's Crab Shack. The line was crossed when they used small children in this one. Really before then, because now I connect SH!* with Joe's Crab Shack. I surely don't want that connected with a restaurant.

It's a biggie around here. We were engaged on Valentine's Day. 3 years later, we were married on Valentine's Day. And 3 years later, I went into labor with our second child on Valentine's Day. So we definitely recognize the day. However, since we have been planning birthday parties and such for the last 20 years, we don't celebrate the anniversary that much. Or they might be holding it until payday and not be ready to mail it. Difficult call. How about putting it in an envelope and mailing it to their address with a note saying you found it. Then they can decide.

I'm glad it helped. I saw this poem a few years ago, and it stuck with me. I truly believe God knows when we have made our mark here and when He needs us in heaven for whatever reason. I don't see it as a permanent loss. Just a long distance assignment, and eventually, when we have completed our job here, we will be promoted as well. Every soul has a purpose. My heart still breaks when I think of your situation. I do want you to look into a support group. When talking to family and friends, they want to protect you by changing the subject, or you want to protect them and avoid mentioning things you want to say. A good support group will give you the chance to say the things you can't say to your family. You can talk about things those who are close to you try to keep you from thinking about. A support group can hear your story and understand, but you don't have to soften your words to protect them. It's the freedom to say what you want to and feel

Most of the HIV+ people I have met in the last 15 years or so have been heterosexuals. Most of those are female. Mainly HIV+ because either they or some man they slept with was a drug abuser. It ain't a gay thing anymore.

If a baby can be born to a mother who is HIV positive and not contract the disease, why would someone think they can get it because someone swept the floor in the room they are in? That is idiotic!
