I always look at going to the doctor like playing Monopoly. You are just trying to get around the board without landing an the high cost properties. You are always going to have pay some rent or as they call it, blood work. But you are hoping to avoid anything with hotels or as they call it, x-rays. The worst is when you have to go to jail or as they call it, referral.

Back in the day I took a lot of stuff, but pain pills never did it for me. They keep me awake, not energized to do anything, I just can't sleep most of the time when I take them. A buddy of mine, who was a pill head, told me one time that my problem was I wasn't taking enough of them to get the proper effect. I told him that if I took the amount he suggested, I would be screwed the next day when my pain was still there and I was out of pills. His reply was, Ohhhh, you're taking them when you have pain.

I can admit I was wrong and I have the divorce papers to prove it. (didn't get to keep nothing else from that marriage, but I do have the divorce papers!)
