  1. While I am no expert on law, I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express the other night. Normally the district attorney's office consults with the victim(s) or the victim's family about any plea deal that may be offered. The victim(s) or their family does not have the final say so, but they are usually consulted and their wishes taken into consideration. I love coming around the mountain seeing Cincinnati and the river laid out below. Pretty sight.
  2. I agree with you 100%. Class acts all! Well.....maybe not RhondaW. But the rest, class acts. Hmmm.....you know, now that I think about it, I am not so sure about Jenilyn. But the rest, class acts. I think momof3 disagreed with me once. But the rest class acts. Mrnn never ask me to play golf. But the rest, class acts. I know Well Read is against me. But the rest, class acts. Just kidding. (see clip)
  3. I was just wondering, since we have a nice cross section on pcom, if you are for or against the death penalty. I will state that I am for it. I wish to make clear that I do not think that I will change anyone's opinion about this topic. If you are for the death penalty, you will agree with me. If you are against the death penalty, I doubt there is much I can say that will sway your opinion on the matter. I believe that very few people who say they are against the death penalty would still say that if one of their loved ones was murdered. However, I do know that there are those, I d
  4. I found out today that my best friend's step-daughter is the public defender assigned to one of the teens accused in this shooting.
  5. We do our burying with a funeral home in Smyrna. (I know this doesn't have anything to do with the topic, I just didn't want to be left out of the fighting)
  6. I don't know if this applies or not, but I did watch King Ralph once.
  7. I personally would reword it to read: "A lot of" 16-26 year old "kids" make me nervous as hell. "A large portion" of them seem to have an I don't give a f&%k attitude, and I want to beat the brakes off of them. Other than that, I agree 100%. (Dang kids need to get and stay off my lawn!)
  8. That was highly inappropriate (or however it is spelled), but it was FUNNY.
  9. I am confused, is Zimmerman now playing for the Titans? (that could explain his weight gain)
  10. Best put on job I have heard in a while.
  11. Didn't you know? They are roommates. Talk about your Odd Couple!
  12. George and I are NOT fat! We are just short for our weight.
  13. Neat! New color. Gotta love it, bold and in color! Remind me to keep you advised of my daily schedule. I need all the help I can get.
  14. I heard this one a lot growing up. "He buffaloed him." or "You aren't going to buffalo me." Buffalo meaning to intimidate or bluff someone.
  15. It was self defense, the wife was already talking about us "having to" keep her.
  16. Well, I didn't bring the dog to him. (I wasn't sure it was his dog) But he followed me back and took his girl back home. They only live a short distance from us, if you cut through the woods. Thank you again for the info on how to get in touch with the owners. You are the one who is very nice. (I can even find myself on the "net")
  17. Update: Good news and Bad news. The good news 1st, thanks to GreenThumbsnButterfingers , the doggie is back home. The bad news is, I am still stuck with the wife's crazy poodle. Ohhh, well.
  18. Nope, if she is not claimed by tomorrow, we are getting rid of the wife's crazy poodle and keeping this one. (just kidding, just kidding) I have already called the Paulding Animal place and left a message and we will follow up on the rest tomorrow. She has a phone number on her tag, but the people that have that number now are do not belong to the dog.
  19. We have found a beagle type dog with a shock collar and tag that says Jack Wright is her human. We are located off Ridge Rd. near the old Poole Bridge School. She is ok but looks like she may have been out for while. We have her safe in our fence. Update: Good news and Bad news. The good news 1st, thanks to GreenThumbsnButterfingers , the doggie is back home. The bad news is, I am still stuck with the wife's crazy poodle. Ohhh, well.
  20. I thought of this one last night, I won't say what made me think of it. (if I put what made me think of it, the wife would be "mad as a wet hornet") "Calling hogs and cutting gourds" - meaning sleeping hard and snoring loud.
