I like the thread title. It "sings".

I don't watch a lot of the newer movies. If I do, I usually end up saying, that's an hour out of my life wasted. And that is from a guy that can watch paint dry.

The Philadelphia Story stars Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, and James Stewart, directed by George Cukor. It is a very funny movie, it was a play and Howard Hughes bought the rights to the play and gave the rights to Katharine Hepburn. Katharine Hepburn's career was in a slump and her movie career was basically dead, then she made The Philadelphia Story and never looked back.

After watching my friends with boys and girls over the years, I have come to this conclusion about the differences between teenage boys and teenage girls. If you tell a teenage boy, "I don't want you going there with those kids. They are bad for you and you have no business being there.". A teenage boy will say yes sir (or ma'am) and just go ahead and go anyway. (or not as the case may be) If you tell a teenage girl, "I don't want you going there with those kids. They are bad for you and you have no business being there.". A teenage girl will spend two hours trying to explain to you

Watch the movie, not only is good entertainment, you will see why term stuck.

Here's a thought, though it is not politically correct, stay in school, quit making babies with men that are thugs and "players", quit committing crimes and the government needs to make them pull their own weight. On a personal note, again, you are not allowed to talk with my wife without me present and even then it is iffy. She has enough wrong ideas with having them reinforced by you.

I understand, I just booked with SW myself this week, flying to Vegas, never even checked Delta. I did think about this airport thing when booking my flight, but making it easier and cheaper for me to get to Vegas isn't productive to my marriage or bank account. I am the worst (or best if you own a casino) kind of gambler, one who doesn't know when to quit and who is unlucky.

It is really tough to deal with, until you understand what is happening, then it gets a little easier. BTW, the term "gaslighting" comes from the movie Gaslight, directed by George Cukor and starring Charles Boyer, Ingrid Bergman, Joseph Cotten and in a small part a young Angela Lansbury. Great movie and it easy to see what gaslighting is by just watching the movie, which is a good time in itself. So if you want to know about gaslighting, pop some corn, get the family together and have a nice evening watching Gaslight. It's a classic!

There is a reason that part of Smyrna was gerrymandered into being a part of the same District as Clayton County for the State Legislature. Look up District 13 which has Congressman David Scott and tell me that district doesn't look like an amoeba splitting. It was done for a reason, to gather one group's votes.

Each family is unique and each child is unique. There is no one size fits all. For those who don't know the meaning of unique, I will explain. When you are a kid and want to go to a party that you are not supposed to go to, late at night unique out of the house.

Everyone has a sciatica, don't they? I had bad pain from my shoulder down through my back, leg and all the way to the heel when I used to have be on my feet most of the day. I never knew what to do except hurt. I hope the tips others have given help, cause it ain't fun.
