  1. Dang....this is a rough neighborhood.
  2. I had to stop reading after this. It may be popular among those who suckle at the government teat, but to the normal working American it ain't popular. In fact, when I asked on here who had even met someone who was for it, I can only recall one person who answered yes.
  3. I gotta go to the DMV next week, can I borrow him?
  4. Feel free to bring whatever treats you would like. But if you get the chance, I could use some cookies, fresh baked ones are preferred. Have fun storming the castle.
  5. My question would be, how did the people in Chicago know about little ole Paulding County and Howard Maxwell?
  6. You can take him on a fun yard day at my house, trim the bushes and cut the grass. I'm sure it will be a fun outing for you both. Kool Aid will be served along with cookies. Ohhhhh, can you bring some Kool Aid and cookies? (chocolate chip is nice)
  7. What schools did you people go to where you flew on field trips? We were lucky to go the Cylcorama and to milk the cow at the Mayfield Dairies.
  8. Very funny, of course there were planes back then.
  9. My first time flying was from ATL to San Juan, with a stop in Miami and the same for the return trip. I was 21 and I had spent a fair amount of time in the airport lounge before leaving ATL, so I was feeling pretty good. I continued my party on the way to PR and in fact the party never stopped. We missed our flight back (do to partying) and were still going strong on the flight back which included some bad storms, which I barely remember. All in all, I have very fuzzy and incomplete memories of those flights. (just for the record, 18 was legal drinking age back then) My next flight was
  10. Up up and away! Oh, that was Superman. I hope he has a good flight and enjoys himself. He will do great.
  11. And I am about as successful with one as I am the other.
  12. Well it was round and it was a pen, but so is this. (and it ain't the right one either)
  13. No, it was just a round pen, for chickens. Ooops, I know what you mean, the real fence kind, the horse kind. I have done business with the number one manufacture of those type of pens, Tarter Gate in KY. But I have never had one. Tractor Supply would be a good choice. I will now go hang my head in shame.
  14. Thanks for the correction. I bought one at the Depot, but that was back in '93.
  15. Baseball lost me when the decided they would rather strike than play the world series. Basketball lost me when they decide to become thugs. Football is losing me because of greedy owners and whiny rich, no effort, egotistical, players. (and because the league is quickly becoming the poster child for how to play football like a wussy) Soccer never had me. Hockey, here's the NHL results of today's hockey games, half the teams that played lost and half the teams that played won and the total goals scored by the entire league for today was 12. Nuff said. Boxing has always had it's share of c
  16. You are a sad strange little man and you have my pity.
  17. I maybe can do Monday morning, I won't be able to take you up on lunch. Let me check, I have a dr appt that morning and I could do it after that. I will PM you.
  18. Don't forget you promised me a field trip to meet someone.
  19. HI. Glad you are back. Hope your dad is well on the way to better. Same ole, same ole here at pcom. Half the people are wrong and half the people are right and half the people aren't sure if they are right or wrong. But everybody is HAPPY! (OK, not everybody, but almost everybody) (Well, maybe not almost everybody, but the majority) (Hmmmm, maybe not the majority, but at least half) (Dang, maybe not half but at least 30%) (Shoot, maybe not 30%, but 10%) (Dog gone it, maybe not 10% but 1%) (Whew, maybe not 1%, but one person) (:SIGH: now that one person is ticked off)
  20. Ahhh, a fence type pen. Try Home Depot or Lowes.
  21. Sounds like they were made for each other, in the nut factory. Shhhhhhhhhh, don't tell mrnn, he thinks it's great. But.....then again, he is an self admitted liberal.
