Kind of by accident, but I met Subby last night
cookies are sweet replied to Ed Head's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Nothing but good things to say about subby. Good guy, great piano player and dang good lawnmower fixer. -
Die hard, yeh, that was his name. I defended you when he told me you were a liar and could be bought. In fact, I defended you so much that he got mad at me and cut off communication with me. Well I look pretty silly now, don't I? Turns out he knew the real Pubby. Pubby, I mean this sincerely, get professional help. ETA, your post makes no sense

It ain't the end of the world? Nooo, I guess not. I know that if the airport goes commercial tomorrow, I will be dead or out of the county before it would have a negative impact on me personally. Like I have said all along, who knows, 25 yrs from now, a commercial airport in Paulding may be seen as a great thing. I don't know. But I know this, it ain't something you just roll the dice and hope you come up winners. I just get so tired of the stupid stuff. Uhhhhh, what's the difference between hauling people and hauling nuts and bolts? The 139 certificate and what goes with it, -

So if a Paulding county employee signs a contract with a company, in secret, to put a hazardous waste dump in downtown Dallas and the citizens find out about it and many start saying they don't want it, and there are questions (you mentioned them yourself) about whether there are violations to ethics rules and open meeting laws. You are saying that screw it, honor the contract and put the dump in, then figure out if it was a legal contract? How about the verbal contract that was made to the citizens of this county? "Never ever" Ohhhh, this non disclosure agreement thing. I've signed -
I call you a liar, because you are. You told me that stuff about the Paulding families. YOU, no one else. You also lied about what you said about the Jamie Gilbert matter, when you said "that's just the way the game is played", referring to the county official(s) putting pressure on Jamie's employer. That is the day that I lost all respect for you as a person. Now you deny saying what you have said about the Paulding "families" that "run" the county. You might want to rethink that denial, after all, you were telling people that story long before (and after) you told it to me. I certa

All I know is, thank goodness Jimmie was cancer free, otherwise there might have been a big ole argument.

Our presidents have not been the best deal makers at times. Clinton works out a deal with a crazed leader of a backward country and look what the claim is today. Obama works out a similar deal with Iran and look what we saw in the news this week. Yes, yes, I know, some are going to list other bad deals by other presidents, that is why I used the plural of the word president in my first sentence, there have been a lot "seemed like a good idea at the time" deals made by a lot of presidents, but I am only focusing on the ones that are biting us in the butt this week. (of course Kim is a wa

As I understand it, and I certainly may not understand it correctly, but as I understand it, no lawsuit has been filed against the county of Paulding, at least not the original lawsuit by the 6 plaintiffs, you know, the one everyone says Delta is financing. The lawsuit has been filed against Airport Authority and, I'm not sure about this, the IBA. If my understanding is correct, then there is a major lawsuit (possibly financed by a company that has more money than Paulding county) against a government entity, that we the tax payers, who are paying for the defense of this lawsuit, have no

I just like to know what I am missing.

WOW!!!! I mean...just WOW!!!! OK Pubby. I dreamed all that. I guess I also dreamed my response, which was, "I am good friends with someone from all but one of those families. But sadly, for me, they are the black sheeps of the families." I won't even go into the fact, again, that this was the first time I ever heard about the 6 or 7 families, much less had them named for me. You say it didn't happen, then fine "it didn't happen". I just "dreamed" it. I guess your reply is in it's self an answer to my question.
