  1. I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed, but some things are just to obvious to miss. When I lived, for a short time, in Paulding back in '92, the city limits of Hiram were confined to the old town next to the RR tracks. Dallas was the big dog and Hiram was just a puppy. Fast forward to 2016. Dallas hasn't grown, some might say it regressed, and is no longer on the porch, heck, it is barely in the same yard. Yet Hiram is not only the big dog on the porch, it is barking loudly. Why? Because the citizens and elected officials of Hiram embraced and welcomed progress and growth, while the cit
  2. I have no doubt that some have been banned, although I have never heard anyone say they were. But I have seen many people post dissenting opinions on that page, including myself. Yes, I have seen snarky comments and replies, but Herr Rienhart is famous for banning people just for asking logical questions. Heck, the poor deluded lady that brought the ethics charges against Mr. Collett accused me of creating a fake Facebook account and made fun of the fact that I had 20 FB friends on that page, yet I was banned, not her. My 1st thought when she mentioned my 20 friends? I gotta start vett
  3. I was hoping someone would get the pun. I have my own copy (since 1975), but thank you.
  4. If you join, make dang sure you goose step march in time with their music, otherwise, they vill ban you! Ja jawohl Herr Hitler....I mean Rienhart. (or whatever Il Douche's name is)
  5. Since you had lied on here, to me personally, I have no reason to believe a word you say, even if it is as small as a 3 letter word. Quit blaming Todd for your pitiful showing at the polls. A drunk NASA monkey could have beat you. As for the rest of your ramblings...seek help.
  6. The lawsuit is filed. It is not being dropped, so it needs to be resolved in the courts. If the court case shows laws or rules were broken, then that would also be the American way. If the court case shows that laws or rules were not violated then, again, that is the American way.
  7. Can we get this program approved? We would only have to pay one out of ever few hundred politicians.
  8. Do you have a personal experience where Todd was insincere to you personally?Ohhh wait, I already asked that question. Note: this post has been edited to remove a stupid and unnecessary comment made by me
  9. You know, the more I thought about your post, the more it bothered me. I wrote an entire book about the airport on here and not one time did I denigrate a single person. Yet your response wasn't even two sentences old before you were making snide comments about Tod Pownell. Unless you have had a personal experienc, where you know that Mr. Pownell was crying crocodile tears, in my opinion, your reply was not called for. Ohhh, just for the record, I have defended Blake Swafford and David Carmichael the same way.
  10. We have a different take on that "tearful" speech by Mr. Pownell. To my knowledge, it was the only time the word was even brought up. Of course, I may be biased, since it came the same week I spent 30 minutes telling Tod that they (our elected officials) needed to put away the penis rulers and work together on a compromise. But, I guess I could be wrong. So a Let Pauding Fly meeting is not about letting Paulding fly? I would not be welcome at such a meeting, I know, because they have banned me from their web page for just trying to say the same stuff I said here. Not a real open group
  11. Just my opinion, yours may differ. This is a long post for two reasons, one, I am long winded, two, is is not a quick sound bite issue, despite what social media (including me) would make it look like. Ahhhh the airport. That grand old place that brings people together and heals all wounds. Ok, maybe that is a bit of a stretch. To discuss the airport situation logically, you have to break it down into parts. There is the general aviation airport before, and after, the commercialization deal. There is the commercialization deal, the way it was handled in the beginning and the way it
  12. The suspect has died. "The GBI confirmed Rodriquez died around 10:30 p.m. at Ken newton's Hospital." That's two pieces of good news, the trooper seems to be doing OK and we don't have to spend good money trying and housing this scumbag.
  13. Without looking it up, do you even know where Camden county is? Have you ever been to Camden county? I won't even get into why this is an apple/banana situation.
  14. The wife and I were discussing home invasion last night. We decided that on a normal day, the average cash a home invader could get from us, is maybe $23 to $40. And that's including the $20 bill I have hidden from the wife in my wallet. (I guess it's not really hidden since she knows I have it...after all, she gave it to me to hide)
  15. Just a few of the reasons they are called, "the good old days". I remember reading about this case when I was a kid. No, not when it happened. Two things are very interesting to me about it. In November of 1955, Jack Graham placed a dynamite bomb in his mother's suitcase, as she was taking a flight from Denver to Alaska. Shortly after takeoff, the plane exploded, killing the 44 people on board, including Jack's mother. Jack did this for two main reasons, money and to get rid of a mother he hated who controlled his life. This was the 1st case of someone deliberately blowing up an airpla
  16. One of the few actors today (Kevin Spacey is another) that I will watch a movie just because they are in it.
  17. If anyone had any doubts about whether this was a vendeta against this family, then the case against Melissa should remove those doubts. Given the situation at the time, eviction from a family home, it really takes a stretch to file charges for trying to run over an officer. Also, saying that she "attacked" an officer is totally BS. Anyone who has met her knows that she isn't exactly built like a female wrestler, not to mention that she is a lady. Am I the only one that thinks that if these same things happened the same way with the Jones or Smith family instead of the Morrison famil
  18. If a white man kills black people in the name of bigotry, when NO white surpremacy group claims him. They not only blame white surpremacy groups, the blame all white people, the battle flag of the Confederacy, the statues of southern leaders, hell, they even want to dig up bodies of people that have been dead for a hundred years and move them. But whatever we do, let's not call a self professed Islamic terrorist, an Islamic terrorist.
  19. I was pulling for a tie, almost got it too. If I had to go with one or the other, then Clemson. Many small reasons.
  20. I have no clue what that means, but it sounds right.
  21. I really need to keep this in mind/
