  1. OK, this is my favorite thread ever. You just can't beat a thread where a guy gets called out for taking granny's readers. Not even a good G&O thread is better.
  2. I like the fact that he needs his reading glasses to rob the bank. (Ohhh, crap! That was the note from the wife to get milk, not the note to rob the bank, I knew I should have brought my cheaters!)
  3. I am big believer in panicking like I vote, early and often. Just kidding, about the panic thing anyway. No panic here, just wondering what the plan is, has been and will be. (heck, wondering if there is a plan) Without a good plan, this has the potential to be as big as the 1918 killer. Not sure sending our military over there is a good plan, but then they haven't let me in on all the details. (yeh, I know, shocked me also) I do find it interesting that when we put "boots on the ground" against an armed force that has threatened the security of the US, we get a lot of "No boot
  4. SEE!! Despite what women say, we are trainable.
  5. It's not me, it is what we were told. The flu is worse than the ebola. What? Does the stupidity of that statement finally make sense?
  6. Dang, even I am not that.....well, let's just say, not as smart as I should be. (at least I don't think I am, although the wife may disagree) Their hormones are running wild, they are busy every moment of the day making human body parts, they are not in a joking mood. (they are usually in a mood, just not a joking one)
  7. I thought this was going to be about my rear end. It is about something way cooler, although not much bigger.
  8. Really? Put em in a box in cargo, air drop em out. Heck we basically do that with our service men and women, why are these people any better.
  9. I think that is a reasonable assumption. That is why I figured she wasn't in a lot of pain yesterday.
  10. I say if you come to the US with ebola and are not a US citizen, then you get shipped right back to where you came from. You know, like we do those who break into our country illegally......oh......wait......never mid.
  11. All I can say is, thank goodness we already had a flu czar, after all, the flu is much much worse.
  12. I can understand the need for the origami condom study, why just last night the wife and I had a hour and a half discussion about that same topic. Not to mention it is the main topic of discussion with anyone I meet. While getting the wife's car serviced Tuesday, it was the main topic of conversation in the waiting room. Well, it was the main topic, until the discussion got a little out of hand and had to be banned by the service manager.
  13. Ohhh great, just great. I guess all my hard work in that area is worthless now.
  14. Sorry to hear that you are in pain. Hmmmm, now might be the time to make my escape from the basement.
  15. I understand that each injury requires different care, but dang, give the girl some good pain killers. I personally like dilaudid, but I have only gotten that at a hospital in a shot, but is gooooooood. (the house could blow up and all I would say is...wow man) I know the bottle says every four hours, but is better to stay ahead of the pain, than let the pain get ahead and then try to catch up to it. Just my opinion, but then, like I said, I have always had trouble following any directions with any type of medicine. I would never have joked if I knew she was still waiting for the bo
  16. I do agree that Zell is one to follow his own way instead of the party line. I have a lot of issues with Zell, but at the same time, I have a lot of admiration for him. But when you promise to be a one term governor and I vote for you, in part, based on that promise and you break that promise, I have an issue. I feel played. But I do think Zell has bigger cojones than most other politicians.
  17. I agree, but would say it this way. I have real fear the we are finally going to pay for the arrogance of our politicians. That is most all of the politicians, in either party.
  18. It is not unusual for a company to keep someone who is leaving out of meetings that involve future company plans, depending on where the employee is going after they leave. It is also not unusual for people to not behave professionally in these situations (your boss, not you) and take the leaving personal. You need to do what your little voice says to do, but it is always better to take the high road and do what you think is right and what you would like someone to do if the shoe was on the other foot. (I think they have a rule that covers this.....maybe it is a gold colored rule?) I
  19. I voted for Zell the 1st time, but when he went back on his word, thus earning him the Zig Zag nickname, I didn't vote for him.
  20. Me either. It just never occurred to me that she hadn't already had the bone set and the arm in a "hard" cast. I guess there are times when someone has to wait, but dang, a week or more? (they would have already worked me in by now, not because of anything I would have done, but because I would have whined, cried and been such a baby, that the wife would have made sure I had already been seen, just to shut me up and protect her sanity)
  21. I thought this was about rolling papers.
