  1. I was watching a program this morning when all the sudden my TV started beeping and an announcement in red showed up. It said there was an emergency and that my TV channel would be changed to the emergency TV channel so that I could be advised of the emergency. It beeped several times and showed this message each time. Then my TV changed the channel, by itself, to the Today Show, where they were doing a spot on getting your laundry done. I know I need to do a couple of loads of laundry, but dang, I still have 3 pairs of clean undies, so I do not see that as an emergency. When you are wear
  2. Jeeze Louise, it will be ok, it's high school football. (you rode the pine, huh)
  3. The WHO was a rock band from the 60's and 70's. They were known for smashing their instruments and sound equipment. From fun facts (or what he thinks are facts) by stradial
  4. She has time to faverite other people's twits. But you are correct, the big day is getting closer and closer.
  5. There you are. I wondered where you had been today. Did you escape or did they have to pay the ransom?
  6. If a certain singing duo and/or singer doesn't start favoriting my twits on tweeter and my (OK, it is really my wife's account) FB comments, (not to mention the clever things I have said in the Instantgrammy), I am going to get a little upset. I am doing my part, they need to step up to the plate and do theirs.
  7. You should be ashamed of yourself, I know what those letters mean. Hepcat - someone who is with it, grooving on the new and latest things, someone who is down to the ground when it comes to knowing what is going around, someone who knows whats what and how to about it.........you know, someone like me.
  8. Real funny, now what does SMDH mean? #tbt or #fbf Today in 1972, the musical Pippin opened on Broadway.
  9. I wonder what mainstream changes the ebola with bring about. I quick thought about the Aids and the changes it brought were, dentists and their helpers wearing masks, people using straws almost every time they drink something in a restaurant, more latex gloves used where before none were.
  10. He can't have the ebola, after all, he took all the right precautions. And it ain't easy to get the ebola. (I heard that somewhere) See: Hmmmm, 18 cases outside of Africa and half of them in the US. Ebola Facts: How Many Ebola Cases Are Outside of West Africa? At least 18 cases have been treated outside of West Africa. Green=Recovered Orange=In Treatment Red=Dead
  11. Great, just great. Now I have to learn what "mans Laugh Out Loud" means.
  12. Program? We got a program? Again, where do you people learn these things? Woman crush? Man crush? What in the world are those about......Wait! Don't tell me! I don't think I want to know. (are the women in these crushes good looking?)
  13. Figured it would go to it's head.
  14. Thank you. Well that explains the pictures, but when did we start this throw back Thursday thing? And why do I never get these memos when we start new stuff? I got a fax machine.
  15. Now that you are famous, can I have your autograph? Preferably on a check, with a lot of zeros...ok, I will take just a few zeros.
  16. A lot of people covered this song, Bing Crosby and Bobby Darin among them, but I just love Dino.
  17. Any of you cool hepcats know what sign this means. #tbt The ones I saw were used with a picture. Example: (picture) #tbt showing off I'm not sure if I am being insulted or not. (Sorta like a few years ago when a co-worker kept calling me dog. I finally had to ask him to not call me that. He said it wasn't an insult but a term of affection, I wasn't sure, but it turned out he was telling the truth.)
  18. (Uhhhh, who ever said he was sane?) (Likable, but sane?)
  19. You tell em mom! Unless things have changed a heck of a lot, the players are high school kids, not pro players. Don't we tell our kids, in everything, "all I ask of you is for your to try and do your best, that is all anyone can do." Doesn't that apply to high school football as well?
  20. I personally feel that working with someone you know or a friend knows someone who needs help is better for me, as well as the organization that I have worked with for the past 20+ years. However, I am a big supporter of the Salvation Army and those who volunteer to help in soup kitchens and what not. I will share a story. A few years ago the wife and I went to VA to spend Thanksgiving with her daughter and son-in-law. After filling my belly with as much food as I could safely fit into it, I took a walk around the apartment complex to help settle the food and smoke a good cigar. Along
  21. Hi, I hope you are doing well. I can't speak for everyone.....well, except Blondie, she has been falling down a lot.
  22. I did SAY in my post, THAT was what I UNDERSTOOD from YOUR post! BUT, I did GO back and reread YOUR post and I still get say THAT is what I understand from what YOU posted, you DID say more than THAT, but that was a Part of your post, at least as I understood and STILL understand it. Here is the LAST sentence of your post: "If the EAST Football team begins to again win as before it will generate as much and more $$$ than in the past and the issue will solve itself." Here is the PART of MY post that references your post: "CPCR says, the times were good, who knew they were going to tur
