  1. I hope you had words with your FIL. Just reading that made my blood boil. I will not, can not, and have not tolerated my in-laws or even my parents undermining MrB or me when it comes to kiddo. Absolutely NO belittling of either of us to him or there will be rage.
  2. It will not draw off of her "current" employer, but the previous one. It only matters how/why she is unemployed *now*. I.e. why her "current" employer let her go. It does not matter if she left her last employer or was laid off before taking this job. Tell her to go to Cedertown as soon as it opens.
  3. She's been working for two straight years, so yes she can. It doesn't matter who her current employer is as long as she was previously employed and had been for a certain amount of time. Also, something similar (not like this, but was out on leave for two weeks) happened to my aunt, and she was able to collect on this two weeks. She did to back when she was called back, but she did get UEB for those two weeks. BUT, that was in TN and about two years ago.
  4. I think someone failed to bend her over their knee and spank the snot out of her. She deserves nothing. If this were me, I wouldn't even make it to court; my mother would have made sure of that.
  5. Y'all want to go with me to the grand opening? I hear they're giving away canned hams to the first 25 customers. We can stop and get Jenilyn on the way!
  6. Thanks!! I actually make this exact thing. LOL I got orzo when doing the weekly shopping to try and make My own "Rice-a-Roni".
  7. Ooh! What's your recipe for pilaf?? I miss it since we don't Rice-a-Roni it anymore. Lol
  8. Yay!! We are having it again Wednesday. This time in going make fried rice with it, and roasted broccoli. I think the sauce will go well poured all over my rice! LOL
  9. This. Sorry I wasn't clear. The fist time I went I wasn't impressed. Actually, I was pregnant and nearly didnt make it to the bathroom in time to be sick - smells, morning sickness, etc. i was in my first trimester with BabyB. That was nearly 4 year ago. But we gave them another chance. And then many, many more. We love it.
  10. I'm not the chef, but I did recently at at OG because my mom wanted it. It was overpriced, and only "okay". I do not eat much in one sitting, and always have a to go box. That night, I ate my entire meal in addition to salad, several breadsticks, and BabyB's leftovers. The portions were small and I was not impressed. In truth, Aldi brand organic tomato basil pasta sauce is much better than what I had. Jmo. Olive Tree is very good, and I've never been and it not be packed. Their baked spaghetti is soooooo yum.
  11. I just threw up in my mouth. I never ate there, but there have been several places on here like that. One such place served me food with hair in it two of the three times I had been there. The food was terrible to boot.
  12. I'm am so sorry. that is going to suck. My cousin is due mid-late August. I feel soooo bad for her. I have only these two dresses. Didnt you say you live really close to downtown Dallas? I can meet you or brig them by if you'd like them. I'm going to be in downtown Dallas this afternoon. Or we can schedule something for another day.
  13. ^^^ this And I will probably be going to that goodwill soon, so Ill keep an eye out, too. I have two dresses for you, and tomorrow ill dig deeper to see if I have pants. I may not, though. I got FAT so, my maternity clothes went from size 2s and xs to HUGE. I gained 70lbs. Because cupcakes.
  14. I did this, too. Actually I wasn't thinking... Jeans might be too hot this time of year. Oops. Lol Dresses are a good idea.
  15. Do you want to be punched? NO I WON'T! Okay! Let me see what I have left!
  16. Yes! It looks like a dump, but I assure you it's delicious!
  17. Gog8tors, love ya, but I have to disagree. LOL you already feel fat and frumpy when you are pregnant, I wouldn't add ill fitting clothes to the mix. I'd get 1-2 Pairs of maternity jeans and then several tops. Don't go overboard, since you don't know how big you will actually get. Try Motherhood maternity. They are relatively inexpensive. $50 won't get you far anywhere, honestly. And targets maternity was kind of high as I remember. Look into a belly band for now if you can still wear your current pants but just can't button them. What size are you? I may have some things left over.
  18. lets go! I can use this $30 I, uh, made! LOL
  19. Se did mine, too. I may have to make a trip out there for lunch soon. I haven't eaten there since I was working and that's been almost 3 years. I ate at Olga's a lot, too.
  20. YES! I don't eat pork much, but when I make this I can't stop eating. I wish I'd made up this recipe myself. And I agree with what DR says about the chicken.
  21. Peking Garden is the best Chinese Ive ever had here. OMG Mongolian Chicken... I need it now.
