I was going to post this same thing today It seems like this time last year I had racked up on tons of good candy for cheap with my coupons/sales. I haven't seen anything great so far. Publix does have some deals this week, but they aren't crazy cheap. I may just go to The Dollar Tree and get whatever they have there for $1 a bag.

Oh wait! I went to high school with Gerald Riggs. LOL, he was a freshman when I was a senior. I also went to school with the daughter of one of members of Confederate Railroad. I forgot her last name, so I can't remember which member. Not Danny Shirley, though. And, Payton Manning's grandpa used to come in the business I worked at from 16 to 21. So, all sort of famous, right? LOL PS - Up there Danny Shirley was like Travis Tritt is here. Haha

Oh, my husband grew up with the Grieses (how do I make that plural? lol). I think my FIL and Bob Griese were friends and they lived in the same 'hood or something. I can't remember the whole story. Anyway, it was in Miami in the 80s.

He is a singer/song writer that has been around since the 70s. He formed the band The Cherry Bombs in the 70s, and later on married and partnered with Rosanne Cash (Johnny Cash's daughter). He was also in a group with Vince Gill at one point. He mostly writes songs, though. He is an excellent song writer, mostly what he is famous for. Many of his songs have won awards. His singing style is more alt-country/americana than mainstream country (IMO).

Yes, I noticed this last night and posted about it. Lowrider is falling down on her job!! I had to look it up myself. Though I always know it's coming, 'cause pcom gets all snarky and catty. I like it. LOL

I literally ran right into Rodney Crowell in Chattanooga at Riverbend. I had to pee so bad that I didn't realize it was him until he got up on stage. MrB and I hung out back stage with the Connells after a show at Variety Playhouse. I don't think a lot of people here will know who either are, but they're famous.

Can you make out any of the letters of the name? Or part of the name? Is there anything on the back? Is it in glass? Is it a print, or an actual painting?

pcom gets a little crazy in the days leading up to a full moon. We're watching a documentary on Aileen Wuornos right now. Rather interesting and disturbing, and really just sad all at the same time. The word "turrible" makes me giggle. lol
