GoBlue, I have noticed the change. Not just the coffee. The price of meats have gone up, cereals have gone up, sugar has gone up, but I have not noticed anything coming down. My husband and I went to Kroger for "major" shopping last week. For the two of us our bill was $175.00 after I used about $8 in coupons. He was in shock. he couldn't believe the price of things since he'd been to the store. (He never gocery shops). And it was the first time in a long time I didn't shop based on sales/coupons.

Oh… MrB and I watched a thing about this the other day. It showed people that have started to stock pile food, much like the “couponers” on that show. It was very interesting. It talked about the rise of all kinds of food prices: coffee, pork, beef, chicken, etc. All rose within the last couple of months. Well, I haven’t bought coffee in about 4 -5 months – I stocked up with coupons when Publix had 8 O’Clock BOGO, lol. Yep. And as far as Willow et. al. go, they are kids. Willow is 16! If you all can prove that you were all saints, never made a mistake, and never went against your parents’ rules – ever – then you can shake your finger. Otherwise, keep in mind she is a kid. And stop getting news from outlets such as TMZ. I thoroughly believe that is what is wrong with the country. Too much emphasis on the stars and too little interest in what is actually going on in Washington and the rest of the world. Just my .02.

Yes! I love that stuff! lol No, I really hate sloppy joes. THey are gross, lol. I don't like loose ground beef, and MrB isn't supposed to have a lot of red meat anyway. So we use chicken. It's better than the beef, but, yuck.

I wasn't sure myself, until I clicked a link to another article about Trig and another down syndrome baby. I have not watched the TV show, and I didn't watch DWTS. I don't like reality shows or anything having to do with the stars, so I vcan;t answer on that level. However, I have a lot of respect for the Palins. Sarah Palin comes across as genuine. I would trust her as a leader. I think she has the balls, and is not likely to crumple into a crying hissy fit if she doesn't get her way. Personally, I can't ever figure out what it is that makes the left hate her so much.

No, it goes in the trash no matter how long. In my house and elsewhere. My floors are clean, too, but I won't even use silverware that's been dropped. It grosses me out.

I did not read your link, but did read your post. I heard a blurb about this the other day and meant to look it up. I have since totally forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder.... I am going to have to read this and look in to what this bill says. I do not think that many people know about this bill. I do know, though, that I have several friends that have gone 100% locally grown/organic in the past year, due to Monsanto's hold on the food industry.
