I guess this is a wake-up call for all of us that take something for pain everyday. Wonder what is safe to take. I have had a sick headache all day and finally gave in and took an alka-seltzer but I didn't want to because of what happened to JohnnyJ. Hope he gets to come home tomorrow.

This sounds like something out of a movie or tv show definitely not something that any pcommer would be going through. Do they live close enough for all of us to go over and scare them off? I do hope they back off and leave your family alone. I would think local authorities could do something to keep them away - you shouldn't have to live in fear.

I agree and have often wondered why there isn't an ice cream shop in downtown Dallas - pies would be good too! I was watching Nightline the other night and they were saying that pies are making a comeback.

My great-grandfather was a coal miner but I'm not sure if he was in West Virginia or in Eastern Kentucky. My mom and dad were both born and raised in eastern Kentucky but I think their grandparents may have started out in Virginia and West Virginia. I haven't been back to the hills of Kentucky in years.

I feel the same way. I have dropped my son off and he would meet a girl there but her mom was usually there too. When I was young we didn't give too much thought about a group of us getting together and going to a movie without our parents and that was either riding on the bus or walking quite a ways to get there. Things are much different now.

We who have lost our mothers understand the heartache you feel right now. It amazed me when it happened how much it really did hurt. That is a pain that does not go away, eases a little, but does not go away. I'm sure you feel at peace though that she did go quickly and doesn't have to be in pain any longer. My mother appeared to me in a dream several months after she passed and told me that she was "finally home", so you are right in saying that she went home. I think the recording contract was from that Jimmy guy that has been working with them so that is probably why they allowed it.
