Sounds like something my son did a couple of years ago. Walking down a carpeted hall and for some reason his foot drags, he stubs his big toe, the cuticle rips and bleeds like crazy. We thought it was just a rip in the cuticle but after much complaining from him we take him to Immediate Care and then get sent to an orthopedic, and he has a broken toe. Took a few weeks to heal.

I think children everywhere were terrified - I know my son was and we were in Indiana.

My oldest son was the same age as Adam Walsh when that happened and I think that opened the eyes of most parents at the time. Unfortunately it seems like a lot of parents think that it would never happen to their children but it only takes a few seconds of taking your eyes off of them for something horrible to happen.

Doesn't it just make you sick to think that there are people (monsters) walking around that could actually do something like that to a little child? Not just sexually molest them but to beat them and stick a knife into their little body. It is beyond comprehensible.

Stay in the right lane on Macland and keep going across Powder Springs Rd where Chick fila is and you'll be on Windy Hill all the way to 75, just make sure as others have mentioned to obey the speed limits as they're around 40 most of the way, then you'll turn right onto 75.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing your mom is so very hard. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Wow - Gippergirl, I had forgotten about the books that my mil wrote last Christmas - one to each of her grandchildren - then she passed away in May. Such a great idea! It may not be a good time of year, but what about planting a pretty tree that they might enjoy?

If they had the Academy Sports open in Hiram you could go there. My husband just got a holster at the one in Snellville.

My Indianapolis facebook friends have been complaining about this for several weeks. Apparently they had a poll about who should be the halftime show and a lot of people wanted someone from Indiana to perform so a lot of people voted for John Mellencamp, but Madonna was chosen. It will probably be a decent show.

This makes me so angry and sad. Prayers for the family and her little friends.

I was just wishing for some homemade peanut butter fudge this evening. Haven't had any in years. It really is disappointing when it doesn't set right - but it still tastes good.

Mine are 36, 33 and 16 and I'm 60 now and I'm so tired. The pregnancy was easy, I felt great and it really wasn't that hard getting into the routine of taking care of a baby when I was 44. Try and stay as healthy as you possibly can so that when he/she is a teenager, you'll still have energy to do things with them. Congratulations and best wishes!

I posted something on facebook about the annoying Target and Kohls commercials and both of my sisters said they like the Target one. I do think the new Macy's one with Justin Bieber is very funny.
