^^this. I have no problem whatsoever with what other parents allow their children to wear to school. that said, I personally wouldn't allow my daughter to wear heels in elementary school. Mostly for practical reasons such as comfort. I really don't remember girls wearing heels in school. Maybe they did and I just didn't notice? I went to McEachern, heels weren't the best choice due to all the walking you had to do between classes. I definitely don't remember girls wearing heels in elementary school. My son sleeps in a drop side. The same one his sister slept in 15 years ago.

When I was little, my sister told me that the ghost of my real mom would look in on me as I slept, through our bedroom window. We share the same mother, my mother is alive and well. My sister was just mean.

My day consisted of grocery list making/cleaning/grocery shopping. I made Buttermilk roasted chicken. It sounds weird, I know. It's my second time making it and it is SOOOO good. Cheap & easy. I've had a pork loin marinating in olive oil, chopped garlic & pepper since yesterday morning. I'm going to grill it while basting it with a Worcestershire sauce/melted butter/lemon juice mixture. Scalloped potatoes and baked beans on the side.

I haven't tried it yet but I read on Pinterest recently that if you put a fabric softener sheet in your pocket when you go outside, it will keep Mosquitos away.
