Oh wow!!! That is so cool that you know her! You wouldn't by chance happen to know how long she was at the shelter? Or if she was turned in by her owner? It doesn't really matter, I'm just curious. She's doing great, she's very easily trained. She buried her bone in the backyard today. I've never had a dog that actually did that.

Oh, I'm sure they're previously frozen. I just thought maybe there is a difference between the shrimp they sell in the bags and the shrimp they sell behind the counter. Who knows? Pure speculation on my part.
-
Try buying them fresh instead of frozen? I bought a pound of the large peeled and deveined shrimp from Publix today to make shrimp and grits. They didn't shrink up that much. I seriously don't know if that makes any difference, "fresh" vs frozen. I guess they're probably all frozen at some point.

Now that's A good question. I know I'm not right, and that's ok. I'm not crazy though, I'm eccentric. I've wondered before if cult members realize they're part of a cult, or if they just think thy're hanging out with a bunch of VERY like-minded people. Not to change the subject.. I'm all for Colorado. -
No, I sent my husband. That place breaks my heart. Thanks everyone for the congrats and well wishes.

As many of you know, I lost my dog Mona suddenly and tragically after she had a series of grand Mal cluster seizures on July 4th at the age of 4. She was very much loved and it devestated our family. But, being the dog people that we are, we felt empty without a furry friend around. We decided to adopt a new puppy from the shelter. Meet 5.5 month old Marley. We got her Saturday. She's a shepard/lab mix and we absolutely love her. She is learning so quickly and has the BEST personality. A day after we got her she was running in the backyard and decided to climb on my son's play set, she the

I took both of my kids to the bookstore. They are 3 and 16, there's not many places they both enjoy going together with me, thats one of them. I love having them both with me. We had fun, and bought books. -
I think you're one of the many people who don't like the McRib. It's really never been the same since the 80's when it was always available, but I still get really excited when it comes back around.
-
Enough about the McNuggats. Let's be serious now, when is the McRib coming back?
-
Yeah, I really don't care about the creepy poll troll. I was just adding to the lightheartedness of the thread.
-
Whoever it is needs to be brought to justice. (It's not me btw)

I don't care what anyone says, I love McNuggets. The new habanero ranch dipping sauce is aces.

That, I did not know.

doh! How could I mention the Jeffersons and not remember Tom and Helen. her real name escapes me but I know that she's Lenny Kravitz's mom. Amen was another fave.
-
I loved 227 as well. I also loved The Jeffersons and What's Happening. Different strokes was my very favorite. Now I'm curious, was Different Strokes the first show to feature an interracial family?

You asked for it, you got it. (well....maybe)

People tell me that the Goldbergs remind me of my family growing up. I haven't seen the show yet so maybe I shouldn't be admitting that publicly. Sarcasm runs freely throughout my house so I guess I would say Roseanne would be a good representation of my family. -
I keep meaning to watch the new naked dating show on vh1.

Toddler Saves Elderly Man Locked Inside Hot Car
jennilyn77 replied to Brian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Maybe he was in a different part of the church and came to the car early to wait for his wife? He was taking a stroll? Feeding birds? I somehow doubt the wife left him in a hot car much less would he agree to it. He said the locks had been giving him trouble in the past. Either way, the 3 year old did an amazing job. Smart kid. -
Bring. It. It's raining in New Hope.

This Dog's Final Day Proves We Should Live Every Day Like It's Our Last

I saw this on FB earlier. I can't read it, I'm still so sad from losing my Mona. I wish I had the chance to do something like that for her. I'm just so glad that there are still special people in this world worthy and appreciative of a dogs unconditional love. -
That was super sweet of him. Sorry about your finger, I had a similar experience after I got my latest set of knives. You'll get used to them.
-
I can certainly relate to that. It's never a good feeling.

I liked your comment because it made me laugh. I don't agree with it though. I just wanted to make that clear. Willie Nelson always wins.

New ATM machine? I needed a training manual
jennilyn77 replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Why do they provide envelopes if they don't accept them? I've never used an ATM to make a deposit. I've been responsible more than once for making a nightly drop box deposit for my employer though. It always made me so nervous.
