well, today is the day..I'm going in for my sonogram to make sure everything is ok with my baby. (i'm 18 weeks) I can honestly say I have never been more nervous in my entire life. I'm staying positive though. The best part...I get to find out the sex Wish me well! Why do these types of weather systems always hit us a night???? Drives me nuts! We had a tree fall on our house & cars during the wee hours of the morning about 5 years ago. Woke up to a very loud BOOM and a large tree branch in the office.Not a good way to rise on a Sunday morning Needless to say My husband & I Get very nervous when there are storms. Especially at night. I like to be able to "see" the storm at least. Stay safe everyone!!

I'm sure all is well, I'm just focusing on the less than 1% chance something is wrong with my baby. Did I mention I regret taking this test? If anyone else has anything to add, by all means please do so.

Thank you, I very much regret having the test..you're right, This is my baby and I want him or her reguardless of any "problems". It wouldn't change a thing. I wasn't even told it was optional. I should have done my homework.

Hi there I'm somewhat new to p.com & I hesitate to post this but at this point I am desperate for any input. I'm between 16 & 18 weeks pregnant. I had my 16 week blood work done this week to find out if there are any chromosonial (sp) issues with my baby. I regret this btw. Well sure enough I get a call from my dr yesterday evening telling me there were some abnormalities. She says I have a 1 in 128 chance of having a downs baby. My dr. tried to reassure me that there is a 95-97% chance that everything is fine. And there are all kinds of reasons why the test may have come out that way

I get irritated by the "new" light at 92 @ East Paulding. Ever since they changed it, the turn arrows go on even when there is no car in the turning lanes?? Drives me nuts!!

I was thinking more along the lines of the water/play area like the one at Six Flags. Or a large public pool with a shallow kids area. I grew up down the road from SunValley, never really been a fan of the place..It always felt dirty or something? And as a parent I KNOW I would be a nervous wreck if I were to take my kids there..to many places to hide.

With all due respect, and by no means do i condone road rage, how do you know the person behind you isn't having some sort of emergency where they need to go at least the speed limit, The person behind you has no way of knowing your circumstance just as you have no way of knowing theirs.
