I feel ya! When I was pregnant with my son I had the tests done to find out if there were any genetic abnormalities. The test came back abnormal. My dr. chose to call me on a friday afternoon to tell me knowing full well I wouldn't have another appointment til the following monday to check the baby. It was the worst weekend of my life!!!! There should be a rule in dr. offices...NO FRIDAY CALLS! ETA- the baby is fine.

yep, and addicts aren't stupid, contrary to popular belief, they are brillillant when it comes to denial and knowing the right things to say. I watched a little bit today and it's clear to me that he knows what to say and how to say it. I don't think he has dr. phil fooled though, he sure as heck dosen't have me fooled. In fact, I think he may have developed a new addiction already, fame.

I think it's ok for you to go. It wouldn't make you a bad parent or anything. How is he with being separated from you? If he goes to his dads regularly he's probably somewhat used to it. As long as his dad is a good caretaker and you don't have to worry about silly things (like I do) like him getting to school on time ect...He's 9. I think he can handle it, (Not sure if you can). I'm not watching and I haven't seen the stories on him and his daughter but my opinion is that all of this sudden stardom can't be a good thing for him. If he is truly a recovering addict this is the last thing he needs. Unfortunately I see this all ending badly. I wish him the best of course, but I also think someting just aint right. Everyone wants to put this guy on a pedestal but the truth is he has let alot of people down in his lifetime and a purse isn't going to fix it.
